Oh WOW!
But at least it was cool enough, well done!
Bit breezy here too, with a definite chill in that wind.....well, it's only Spring!
Busy day, feet up now with a glass of something tasty ......

Well done that woman
We are just back from a week in Bosham, South coast. It was lovely. Just beeb catching up, I hope everyone is well.
Evening all. I think our holiday has done me a world of good. I have been a busy bee today, I have done all the washing and most of the ironing., baked a cake and done a bit of shopping.
It is a lovely clear evening here now, the light shining across the hills is magical.
I have left some fresh cream cake in fridge for you, it is virtual so there are no calories involved.
Oh my! That sounds OTT, Gillian, totally above and beyond the call of duty!!!
But so pleased the holiday has been good for you!
It's cleared here too, we sat out in the sun but there was still a chill in the breeze.
I've been trying to be good and having one meal each day which is low calorie, but in here cream cakes don't count, so thank you! My appointment a couple of weeks ago in eye clinic showed me I was far too heavy so I've been trying, honestly I have! I probably need to think about a more formal diet, trouble is I love food!
Been gardening......there's always something which needs attention.
Hugs to you all xxx

Hi all,
Sorry Ive not been typing, but have been reading....
Had a great evening, sons took me to the pictures to see Florence Foster Jenkins, and then for dinner afterwards, we left the dog with hubs who was all prepared with food to cook, and doggy food too....
The film was great, funny, excruciating and sad all together quite often. Well acted too.
Left some cake, fresh but made too big a one, carrot cake with Orange flavoured butter icing. Please help yourselves!
Hugs to all xxx
Moomy
Hi Moomy,
The film sounds good , glad you got out with your sons, I went out last Saturday with daughter to a matinee performance of Barnum, it was only an amateur production but still very enjoyable.
Been struggling since with fatigue which has tipped over into not sleeping tonight:(
The doc gave me a week of treatment, may be as well the way I'm feeling
I know this feeling well as I've had chronic fatigue since 2004, but it has been well controlled recently. Guess the excitement of a trip out was too much :(
Oh well the carrot cake sounds delicious thanks, I'll pop some dark chocolate in the cupboard to go with it
Love and hugs to you all xxxx
Hello everybody, hope all have had a good weekend,i've spent most of today drinking tea & eating cake,we're now on holiday, not going away, just days out, tomorrows picnic is packed & ready & while i was at work this morning Vince has had a look on google & decided we're off to Ely,never been there so it will be an adventure & interesting day,now i know i said no more work but it was a job i couldn't refuse,a lady that lives not far from me will be 90 next month & is so independant you wouldn't believe it,all she needs is somebody to go in & wash her back & feet every morning,i'm there half an hour & most of that time is spent talking
Well it looks like Polly is going to be a Grandmother,if she's not pregnant Ruby's very fat & she's also going to a new home at the weekend, the cat they already have doesn't like Ruby & is always being mean to her & Nikki's friend is on her own & is happy to take her "with child" & will home all the kittens so everybody will be happy,my lot are as mental as ever,at the minute all 4 are asleep & all is quiet but no doubt just as i get in bed all hell will break loose
The film sound fab Moomy, been ages since we went to the cinema,i love am dram sewingbee,we used to go & watch a junior theatre group when my neighbour's daughter was going but we've not been for a while,i do sometimes go with my friend but it's not Vince's thing,Trish & i are going to see the grumpy old ladies in Skegness in July
I've just put the kettle on for a brew
xx

Here's a tip for you, head down to the river there's a lovely tea room at the bottom of the hill that does great afternoon tea in pretty china cups.
