Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Yes Carol, well done for adding the photos! It's great to see them, are they all black all over, or have they got different markings?
Lynda, gardening, good for you, done lots of that too.....so glad Lucas is staying nearby now, what a worry he was, bless him.
I emptied the strawberry tub and re-filled, bought 9 new plants but had save lots more that I had grown from the runners, will have to throw more out next year after these produce runners too.
Daughter was here, it was such beautiful weather we spent most of the day outside, even barbecuing this evening too.
Daughter is doing a 5k obstacle run tomorrow and a tandem sky glide one day next week too. (Braver than me, though I did love doing that zip wire!)
Have a lovely holiday, Lynda, you too Gillian....
Hugs to you all xxx
Ps, Jasmin, well done, you, enjoy your day out xxx
Moomy
Hello from a glorious Lincolnshire
Well that's the painful bit over now for the wait for results
How are we all doing, hope all are ok
Polly is all black,Willow is all black but has white whiskers on the right side of her face so even though they're pretty much the same size we can tell them apart,Medusa has a white patch on her chest but she's tiny & noisy & naughty so you can always pick her out in a crowd
Love & hugs to all
xx
I Aww, Carol, (and everyone)
Hope all is fine.....descriptions of the kitties all sound a wee bit alike, apart from the renowned Medusa of course, but they all look cute!
I'm a happy bunny today, had a GP appointment and he's not at all bothered by my blood pressure, the readings I gave him all show the wide bounds of normal, and we had a good chat about cataracts and the various readings they put in the letters, and also when to get anything done, also where....feel more relaxed about it all.
Hugs to you all xxx
Ps, left some yummy moist chocolate cake, it's an unusual recipe using mayonnaise rather than eggs and fat, works really well and is fudgy. xxx
Moomy
So pleased you're now a happy bunny Moomy & have had some good advice about your blood pressure & cataracts
Hope all are doing the best you can
3 guesses who made a break for freedom this afternoon, got spooked when our friend started his car & is now washing her dirty feet
xx
Hi sister snail,
I only need 1 guess... MEDUSA.
All these yummy cakes are not helping my waistline at all. Think I need a dose of will power!!!
Sandra

Oh, Medusa! What are you like?!?! It didn't need much work to guess, Carol!
Oh and Sandra, cakes in here are calorie free, it's the ones you eat in real life that add those inches, lol! (You and me both!!!!)
Been a busy day doing all sorts of interesting engineering and research work on the Bombe machine today. One of our clever rebuild chaps made a way or putting the Bombe to work as the prototype did, it was fascinating but would not too useful in WW2, Turing didn't get everything right!
After a few beautiful days today has been humid and wet, shut those bifold doors up first thing, still looking out at the garden though....
Hugs to you all xxx

Moomy,
For once, we are having the good weather up here in Glasgow, and it's to be warm(ish) again tomorrow, but by Friday, normal service will be resumed!!
Hubby and I have been teak oiling the furniture at the centre where we have been getting complementary therapies, by way of a thank you. If I say so myself, it's looking great. The staff and volunteers all said the difference is amazing. You can't just take, you have to give too, right...
Now, for some calorie free scrumptious indulgence....mmm
X
Sandra, that's lovely, but teak oiling is pretty messy, worth while doing though! Put an extra coat of something on the bench we bought last year, it's astonishing how many cross bars there are on these benches and tables!
Yes, I heard about your lovely weather, a north-south swap for once! But yes, think the whole country are facing winter again by the weekend.....ah well, the UK does have a variety of weather, and what would we talk about if it didn't?!?!?
Enjoy that cake, I ate my last bit...,(belt will have to loosen off!)
Hugs xxx

Hope all have had a decent day today, weather here has been grim but i've been at work all day so have kept dry
Well her ladyship spent an hour washing her wet feet & then spent the rest of the night either on my knee or laying on the back of the settee with Vince & when the door was opened this morning she ran upstairs, she's now looking for trouble & is sitting in the middle of all my Avon paperwork
I notice i was too late for chocolate cake :( i've put scones on the side & there's some homemade mixed fruit jam to go with them
Love & hugs to all
