    Good morning all

Jasmin,i have no idea how you or anybody else who has lost their soulmate feels & my heart goes out to you all bit i do know the last thing you should worry about is work, this is the time for you to take things easy & allow yourself time to grieve & heal

Christine,so pleased you're feeling brighter & it's so lovely to hear from you again

    xx

  • 'Arternoon, everyone.....

Jasmin, you are amazing! I am full of admiration for you (and Christine and Lynda too,) for picking up the pieces and building your life again, having lost the love of your life so recently. As Christine says, work will be there WHEN you feel ready, don't force yourself!

Carol, I really can picture Medusa trying to catch that fly! As the season goes on I guess she will get even more practise, but bet she won't be that bothered when she's older!

I've been reading a bit about singing which I've put on a living beyond cancer thread, as a keen singer it grabbed my attention! Getting well involved with the upcoming concert, as an alto soloist I've got an extra rehearsal or two! Not that my solo work is much, it's just phrases here and there.....

Lynda, our garden is damp enough, you've had so much more wet weather and chilly days and nights than down here, hope yours dries out so you can get on!

Missing Ian and Keith, hope you are both  ok.......

    Hugs to you all xxx

Evening everyone. good to see you Jasmin and it sounds like you are being very strong . hugs to you

Bless everyone else and thanks for the scones and cream, my favourite.

I am afraid to say that the itch is still here. On Monday night I think I took most of the skin off my ankle before I woke up. So far the acupuncture hadn't worked BUT yesterday I went for more acupuncture and she tried a spot in my ear, I haven't been scratching as much (still itching) so I am hoping she has got something that will help. Fingers crossed.

I have just driven hubby to the comedy club in Sheffield, I will pick him up at about 11pm. He always laughs that I drive him to drink - it is all true.

  • Oh Gillian, I hope the ankle acupuncture helps! I had to smile at your hubs saying you drive him to drink! Again, it's what they might call a psychosocial activity so should help him de-stress! Hope he has a clean joke or two to tell you when you collect him?!

Watched the new programme about ageing. Think we all need to turn vegan and dance!

    Hugs xxx

Can't do vegan had the most delicious steak at The Lamb Restaurant in the Cotswolds on Sunday. I will have to continue to grow old disgracefully. Might dance round the kitchen!

so many posts on the community are so sad lately it is good to have some light relief.

Moomy I have not heard from Ian recently since he had his Holiday. Where are you Ian?

I can tell you that Keith is fine, very focused and together in his new life. Don't think you will see him posting any more though, think he has got what he needed from the Community And is ready to move on.

Hope you are all well and all the animals are behaving xxxxx
