Lynda,
Are you going to knit for Adam, or is that not your forte?
I sometimes think it's cheaper to buy, but much nicer to see a wee one in hand knits.
Congrats Grandma, Nanny or whatever title you are honoured to have...

Congratulations on the birth of Adam. Nice to hear good news.
My knitting is hopeless. I started a matinee jacket for my son when I was expecting, I finally sent the half finished object to a charity shop last year. Chris is 27 now!
Congratulations nanny Lynda. Best wishes Jasmin x
Great News Gillian; I know I found it so tiring going to radiation every single day, for such a long while, even if each day wasn't that much time itself, in the hospital, it just seemed to eat every minute of every day for those three weeks when I had my RT....
Not so good here... have some kind of throat infection, which has hit me hard; perhaps I'm going to get worse infections etc, since the chemo and RT; I hardly ever caught so much as a cold before treatment last year.
Trying to control my temp which is weird now at the best of times, with paracetamol, and have some throat spray from the pharmacist to help anethesise the throat so it doesn't hurt so much. Lots of cups of tea, and five pints of beer each night so I can sleep a little... bleh! - Holding up my getting on and sorting out junk to throw away in the house, but so aching and sore head, with this infection, I cna't seem to get much done.
Visiting GP tomorrow. - A visit arranged a while back to discuss other things, but now of course can discuss throat infection too.
An amusing letter through today, from the last oncology checkup meeting; my Dr that time, apparently thought William was my whife... - OK, I'm guessing this is a bit of a language problem (think he was Spanish maybe Portuiguise), but, Does make one contemplate how good the Drs observational skills are! - Oddly, the letter says my bloods are all fine now, but on looking at the results, I see my neuts are as low as they were half the time during chemo, which might go some way to explain my infection now...
Off tomorrow with William to pick up our wedding rings, which should be ready now from the jewlers!
Hope everyone else is OK
Congratulations to the happy family Lynda. Enjoy your cuddles xx
Congratulations Lynda, your family and welcome to the world, little one xxxxxxx

It is a lovely day here today although bitterly cold. I have been helping hubby by clearing up the clippings from the hedges. He is getting in early trimming stuff before the birds start nesting. We have a colony of sparrows in one of our beech hedges and they will be none too pleased.
Here's hoping everyone else is well and hugs to all those who need them
