Sounds like you have some exciting adventures planned Lynda, hope they're all full of wonderful new memories for you
Sounds like your Luna & my Medusa would be a match for each other, she may not be top cat, that's still mummy's place & she lets them know if they get out of hand, but she's certainly my cat & woe betide any other cat that tries to get on my knee, that's her place & if Willow manages to get on Medusa shoves her off,i'm babysitting my little mate & Vince has just let me know that one of the girls has pulled the stair curtain down & they're running round like the feral kittens we know & love
Hope all are doing as well as can be
Love & hugs to all
xx
Lynda, that all sounds excitingly! As for losing weight, I think I'm the one who needs to think about that! Hope Luna keeps Lucas in order and has told him off for running away!

It is good to hear folks discussing positive events for the coming year. The talk of kitties makes me smile. Keep the news coming please.
I go on n Wednesday for my radiotherapy planning session. I need 15 treatments so hopefully it will soon all be over. Hubby goes for a minor mouth op on 21 January so January will be difficult.
The plan is to look at a holiday in March or April. Then Hubby will have his annual European narrow gauge train fix in Germany in May. It is an opportunity for him to go off on his own with the boys and not worry about me. The professionals call it respite, but whatever it is good for both of us.
Then consider something else in the summer.
I hope everyone is as well as can be.
I fear there will be many kitty tales to be told in the future Gillian as my baby girls will keep us all well entertained for a while yet,is it nice & warm on the steam train or will i need my thermals on,were coming to have a day out there when we're on holiday in February, we often have a day on the norfolk coast &always go to Sherringham & have a cuppa at the station &/or a ride on the train,we love all things steam & victorian
Moomy you are a busy girl,i love singing but am not good enough for public entertainment,i did sing in the school choir in Lincoln cathedral once but that was only to make up the numbers & my teacher told me not to sing loud enough for people to hear me
xx
The carriages on the Midland Railway were steam heated so it was cosy warm on the train. But there is a big area to walk round at Swanick where there are engine sheds. They are home to the Princess Class and lots of other important loco's as well as other rolling stock. So in February you will need to be well wrapped up for the outdoor bits.
It really is a good day out
I am looking forward to the kitty tales.
Gillian, I hope the radiotherapy will be kind to you.
We have been to the railway museum in York, where I do admit to eventually getting a bit bored, so very many engines to look at! But we went on the slowest express in the world when we went to Switzerland, the Glacier Express, the full length, and then up the tiny narrow gauge in Zermatt to the Gornergrat, great fun! Am sure your hubby will enjoy his trip.....
Carol, I love the stories of your kitties, they must keep you guessing sometimes, though.
It's my midweek day at BP tmrrow, and the team's monthly meeting too when we sort out rotas and talk about developments and learn more too.
Singing? I have sung just about all my life since a little tot when I used to wonder why the other kids sang everything on one note instead of 'going up and down', in church and school choirs, then in other amateur groups and had singing lessons for a good few years too.
Thinking of you all, hope those holiday plans go well, Lynda and Christine, and sending big hugs to those who need it, including Jasmin and Keith,
Hugs to all xxx

Just to let you all know the vet has confirmed via his microchip that it is Lucas....not that I had any doubt.
He is also ok, she couldn't find anything at all wrong with him, no fleas even, so just a precautionary worming done.
So I think a celebratory glass of white mine is in order tonight.....for me not him! He is sulking under the bed, doesn't like being taken in the car and prodded around.
I wish! But it is counted into my allowance for today.
That's brilliant news Lynda,so pleased he's ok,Medusa spent 20 minutes washing her feet tonight, mind you she had had them right in the middle of a plate of chips
