Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Carol; well whilst I did some housework today, and William ironed a few of my shirts and blouses, then, I folded up a selection of shirts, blouses, and some long sleeved tee-shirt/tops that I'm going to take with me... Added a few pairs of nicely folded leggings, and the surface of the spare bed is now looking an aweful lot like a selection of things ready to pack!
Must at some point work out which bag they'll go in; I'm guessing it'll weigh too much just for hand-luggage, so I'll have to take a check-in bag too...
Got round to phoning my Brother, and so sorted out Christmas present for our Dad, and for my Brother too, I think; plus, learnt he and my Dad are giving me Chrona for Christmas, for taking with me; which saves a trip to the bank or whereever to exchange any currency over!
So... gradually coming together!; I'm almost starting to see now how soon it is before I fly! - almost but not yet starting to panic about what I've forgotten!
Hope everyone else is OK, and keeping warm and dry with this grotty weather now...
Well everyone,
I haven't yet got the tree out of the loft, (it's my job as hubs is too unsteady on his feet now, he stands below to take stuff from me) as he's been really sleepy all day. But will do in the next few days......
Haven't heard from daughter today (she ran out of data and is in the London flat she rents) but enjoyed seeing a pic of her with Rod Stewart, and watched her briefly on X Factor too. so I guess the sinus pain is less, thanks to the Doxycycline she got on Friday.
Son has recovered from the lurgy and got asked to get to London to help out in the cello section in a Mozart concert (yay, his first proper pro gig)
Popped some hand made fudge to add to Carol's lovely mince pies....
hugs to you all xxx

Good luck, Gillian. I've had a bit of a sore throat the past few days, I think I'm a bit run down due to some rubbish sleep the past week or so.
Gillian, I hope that goes well for you too, and the result is rewarding.
I know, it's been quiet here, I've popped in to make sure the faeries are looking after the place, and to pop some mulled wine ready for anyone who likes it.
I've also replenished those mince pies!
Hope this lovely place is welcome to everyone who enters....

Hope something helps, Helen, and that throat improves quickly....

Really hope it's not 'the lurgy'! If so, hibernating in here is a good idea, this cold bug is nasty!
