Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Christine,
It was just before you typed in a post ' think about something you and Terry did together' that I did just that, and changed my piccy, we would both love just sitting there, 'sampling' the wine. Ok, so we had to finish the bottle, before we could come to a decision.
I don't know if you have a similar piccy? but your current avatar looks good.
Time to go to bed, won't sleep for very long, but time to go, and his 'Lordship' wants his walkies.
G'Night all
Love that picture
Goodnight sleep tight xxx
Hi Lynda,
inhale steam, it does help, but whatever you do, do NOT go outside for an hour afterwards. Cough medicine, too.....and paracetamol for the aches. My commiserations, it is a nasty bug.......Carol, I hope you haven't got it too.....
Big hugs all round....

Evening all, hope all are as good as can be tonight...
oops... I must go back through the backlog here, not posted online in days, and not had the computer on since Friday I think! (really unusual for me).
But William was down, for the weekend, and before that I had the Deep Purple concert at the O2 in London, on... err. Thursday night I think it was! so, just sort of been busy I guess.
I really must start getting things organised for Christmas, including for my trip away on the 23rd Dec, until mid January... - Already had to rearrange one hospital appointment, for neurosurgery which came through for the 5th of January (nope, I don't know what they want with me either! - I guess related to this fluid filled sinus I have, that is responsible for having wrecked my pituitary gland... they might want to drain it I think, possibly...).
Threw in another repeat prescription today, and picked up one other from the pharmacy.... and realised my drugs are not going to work out at all for Christmas and my being away... so will have to put extra repeat scripts in for all my drugs, again, err, next week I guess to ensure I get them in time! - I'll be like a travelling medic when I fly off... tablets, eye drops, injectible hydrocortisone... - I won't be carrying my own vial of testosterone though, as I'm having an injection a couple days before I fly out; and I just realised that will time perfectly; the bruising from the intermuscular injection will just be coming up by the time I board the flight!
Attempting to get 'in the moodd' as it were, for Christmas a bit; braved the crowds in town earlier, and got a pair of 'snowflake' Christmasy leggings to wear! Though I may try find a pair even more ... garish and bright and festive on Wednesday when we're in the center of town for my regular pilgrimage to Lush costmetics...
A massive pot of slightly spicey veg and chicken lental dahl cooked up earlier, if anyone's hungry! its on the side ready to re-heat...
Hope all are OK, and hugs to anyone who wants them (I'm cold/flu free thankfully!)
Morning all
Well i fear the dreaded cold may have entered our house,i have the sore throat & snuffly nose so today is a day in my pajamas with lots of drinks & chocolate biscuits & a little bit of housework if i feel like it
Lynda i hope you're feeling better today & that anybody that isn't feeling to well soon feels better
Love & hugs to all
xx
Oh no Carol, that's rubbish.
i still feel pretty awful. So I'm tucked up inside doing nothing except playing on my I pad.
Oh, and it's raining again.
Sun's out here but it hasn't brightened my mood, can't believe how many sore throats & snotty noses i've had this year, just seem to get over one & another rears its ugly head & i'm so tired all the time, even the kittens got on my nerves last night & had to go to bed early, the noise they made on the stairs was dreadful & they just wouldn't calm down,so pleased you had a good holiday, you're so brave to be going away on your own,i'm sure i wouldn't be able to,i don't like being out of my comfort zone at all,i've had the sweeper round the room & am now watching one of those trashy Christmas films they show this time of year
Mark, you really must get organised or you'll be jetting off & have to buy clothes when you get there & make sure you get those prescriptions sorted out, last thing you need is to run out & not be able to get sorted, sorry but i'm feeling fed up today & have my big bossy knickers on
xx
Sending you two commiserations, Lynda and Carol, take care of yourselves......so sorry this bug got to you both, it does take a while to see the back of it, you feel like you really don't want to know for a few days, then gradually begin to improve. It took me 2 weeks to feel right in order to pick up life as normal.
Big group HUGS

Morning all
How are we all feeling today,i feel bit better than yesterday but still yeuk & this mornings nosebleed hasn't helped the mood,i've just been crying while i watched the news, those poor people that have been flooded,it must be just horrendous,i do hope nobody on here has been affected by it,if you have i send lots of love & hope you soon get back in your homes,i also cried yesterday when i watched the video of santa doing sign language to the little girl, been ages since something like that made me feel so emotional,i'm going to blame the germs for making me all weepy & pathetic
Polly & the babies are in the bath sleeping & Pud is looking for trouble this morning,i really must get some new photos taken of the girls & try to get them on here,Polly has grown so much since we took her in & the demons are growing too,Willow is a little chubster & Medusa is more slender but definately not elegant, more like an elephant & she is so my cat, when they're out no matter what i'm doing she needs to watch me or be on my knee & that includes when i'm on my knees in the bathroom cleaning the litter tray out, they had a proper mad hour yesterday & to see them playing you'd think they were trying to kill each other
Christine,Jasmin,Gillian,Jakki,Moomy,Mark,Ian & all that pop in to visit i send you love & hugs & hope you're all free from this dreaded bug.Lynda my lovely i hope you're feeling better today
