Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
For any of you who are struggling with this weather and flooding, my heart goes out to you. I've just been watching the devastation of north west England, especially Cumbria and south west Scotland. Hope that dear Lynda and family are safe and not too badly affected.
In some ways I'm glad that we don't, and never will have, grandchildren, in spite of the wonder and joy they would bring. At least now, we won't get the guilt at bringing future generations into this sad country with the world fighting and our troops bombing the middle east and with its increasing climatic disasters.
A warm, comforting room awaits all those coming in here, there are snacks a-plenty and good drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Sorry if I am depressing, it's all the rotten sad news I've witnessed over the last few days.
hugs to you all xxx

We're very lucky where we are Moomy & don't get flooded but we do have some wind damage round about us,i too hope that all my lovely friends on here are all ok & not up to there knees in water like some places, brother managed to get to the isle of man & his young lady should now be home from Dublin so they'll get a bit of time together this weekend,i've just been looking at the news from over there & the damage is horrendous,i've also had a look at the news over here & there's so much damage up & down the country,i'm thankful i never had children, the world we live in today is so full of sadness & badness & i can't see it getting any better, not in my lifetime anyway
On a lighter note the monsters have been at it again today, they made a bid for freedom when i went to the bathroom this morning & i couldn't be bothered to comedown & catch them, all was calm & peaceful & just as i was nodding off to sleep all 3 of them jumped on the bed & attacked anything that slightly moved under the bed covers
xx
Those kitties keep you amused.
Evening all
The news is depressing but don't forget to balance it out with the goodness in the worl. I personally can vouch for kind friends and neighbours, for people who care about the world and communities we live in. Our friends daughter who took her gap year in Columbia supporting a school in a very poor area, she now works for a charity in the same field. There are many others.
The folks on here who care for each other, I think we should have a group hug.
Sending love and hugs to all
Group hug is a great idea Gillian & my arms are as wide as can be to fit everybody in

Group hug is a great idea, my arms are spread as wide as wide can be......

Oh dear Jasmine. I don't have that problem with Luna as she is too small to jump that high, but Lucas used to.
big group hug everyone, a magical one to protect you from catching my stinking cold.
Big warm group hug to everyone from me as well.
Sorry you have a cold Lynda but don't worry you can't pass on virtual germs so hug away.xx
I think it was real life hugging wuppers in Budapest that gave me the cold in the first place.
