Hello
Just popped a bottle of wine in the fridge, felt the need for a little tipple tonight
Weather here has been foul all day again but my morning was brightened up by my little mate,we cuddled up together on the settee & watched rubbish kids telly, sang songs, did sign language with Mr Tumble, she did yoga & danced then we read a book
We're still having a visitor at meal times,Polly's still not happy about it but the other pair don't bother unless she comes to me for fuss then they rush over & get inbetween me & her, animals are so funny aren't they
Hope all are well as can
Love & hugs to all

Hi all,
sounds like a fun morning Carol.
i have had my chimneys swept today. Sounds boring I know, but now I can light the fire in the lounge which is lovely. Also found a roofer to sort out the flat roof over the bay windows (one is leaking). So that's another problem sorted. This afternoon's treat was yet another trip to the tip!
I will join you in a glass of wine Carol, and I've put some nuts and crisps out to nibble.
Hi all, spent some time today clearing out the baby clothes bought for our Grandson (he turned 3 on 2 November), and it's bringing back all the lovely memories of him as a newborn and toddler and I don't think I can part with them all. Our daughter has a car boot sale booked for 29 November.
Maybe I could store some in the attic, just in case they are needed again!
Can I please try the parkin cake, I've never had that before. I'll replace it with some Scottish shortbread

Evening all
Gosh carboot in November, far too cold for me,i'll do mine in the spring, mind you i've been saying that for the last 4 years & the shed & loft are still full of junk,my mum still has some bits from when brother & i were babies,he's 51 & i refuse to say how old i am & i have a curl from my oldest goddaughters first haircut (she's 34) & some baby bits that belonged to her 10 year old son,you never know when any of these things may come in useful
Yesterday morning was lovely Lynda & i've had an interesting evening with her today,Nanny i need a sweet,ok have one of these (a love heart, that was all i could find) yeuk,i don't like that, you eat it Nanny,i'd rather not thank you spit it on that plate,Nanny, draw a snail,Nanny, draw a cat,Nanny, draw a dog in a box (30 second pause) Nanny,i love you,i love you too sweetheart, yes i know Nanny, draw another snail, quick Nanny it's the cangers
Have you had a proper fire today or are you saving that till it's proper cold,i love a proper fire,we don't even have a fire place,if we have a power cut we have no heat so it's freeze or go to bed
Well i do hope you've had better weather than we have,it's been grim all day here,Vince told me tonight i've lost the plot,i made him put a parasol up in the back garden so that when it's raining the girls are under cover when they eat,i've also found some furry jumpers & jackets to make them a cosy bed for the winter & found another parasol to make some shade to keep the wind & snow out of the kennel
Sending love & hugs to all

Aah, baby clothes Wee Saz, they bring back lovely memories; I still have my boys' first babygrows in their memory boxes and take them out occasionally to have a look. We have a sixth form open evening on Monday for my big fella, can't quite believe my baby is 6' 3" and taking his G.C.S.Es in the spring!
Carol, that little pickle certainly keeps you busy, sounds like a cutie!
I have news; can finally have a go at coming off the steroids! Reducing over the next three weeks, fingers crossed my lungs will cope without and I can get rid of this chipmunk face!
Just made some ginger and cinnamon flapjack as we having some fireworks and dinner with our neighbours tomorrow, have left some on the table-enjoy.
hope everyone is well, enjoy your weekend
love Jakki xxxx
Hi all
Hope all have had a good day
Flapjack, how yummy, thank you Jakki,oh yes she certainly does, there was a persistant tap tap on the door tonight & when Vince opened the door there she stood,on her own,Vince said where's mummy, in the house, does she know you're here to which she replied save me,turns out she doesn't like fireworks & she thinks Vince is some sort of super hero who can fix anything,we love her to bits & are so pleased they both came into our lives, hope you enjoy the fireworks tomorrow,we won't be going to see any, fantastic news about the steroids
Hope all are well as can be & that any treatments are treating those having them kindly
We still have a visitor 3 times a day,i'm sure she has worms as she eats at home as well
I've put the kettle om if anybody fancies a brew
Love & hugs to all

Hi,
your tales of of the little one do make me laugh. They are so cute. As for erecting a parasol to protect the cats, that's so funny.
no, it doesn't seem cold enough to light the fire yet. Although my parents arrive tomorrow for two weeks and I expect they will want it lit. I had a delivery of logs today. So out in the rain trying to shift ten large bags of logs into the shed before they got completely soaked.
My fur balls hate all the fireworks. There was a big organised display just across the other side of the railway line out the front from me yesterday, and there have been smaller ones tonight, still going on now. Poor cats keep hiding under the bed.
Good news about the steroids Jakki, they do wonders, but have horrid side effects too.
Evening all
The fire is on here and I'm having a glass of wine. Isn't the weather foul? I'm sick of the wet and the mud, and as we have two extra dogs here at the moment, so every time they go out it's 16 feet to wipe when they come back in!
My daughter is in Sharm El Sheikh at the moment, stuck over there. But she's just got engaged, so she's happy enough.
Hi all
Not enjoying the gloomy weather and the rain. But it is so warm! at least saving on the heating bills.
mistymoley hope all goes well for your daughter getting home. Congratulations on the engagement.
Love to all xx
Thanks, Grandma Fox.
Their flight was due to leave today, then tomorrow lunchtime, now we just don't know.
