Thank you Polarbear. I am afraid the only fizz I have these day is a drop of sugar free Dandelion and Burdock. Takes me back to my childhood. LOL xxxxx
I used to love Dandelion and Burdock, treat night was Friday night pop and crisp night, can you drink it when fizzy, hubby has to let everything go flat, he has enjoyed old fashioned lemonade left out in a glass to de-fizz and has recently started to have a beer put in the microwave to get rid of too much fizz, I am a sociable drinker so anyone for a tipple? :-)
I can drink it fizzy, but not too much or late evening, because is makes my acid reflux worse Polarbear.
Enjoy your tipple my friend xxxx
Cheers Chris "raising a glass to new found friends" xx
Hello everybody, nice & warm in here tonight & it smells like Christmas, lovely
Well i was just in the steps bedroom & found a bottle of fizz in a box of stuff that came back last night so help yourselves, there's a big bottle of dandelion & burdock, got it for myself for yesterday as i'm under orders from doctor to only have 1 small glass of wine if it's a special occasion :-( & people kept making me tea so it never got opened
Such a shame you didn't find us befor Polarbear as i brought porkpie in from Melton Mobray the other week,it was lovely, spent many a happy hour in your county at mallory park
xx
Brilliant Sister snail, sorry I missed the pork pie as really do enjoy 1 occasionally. You have lovely sausages and beautiful Stamford and lovely spalding tulip festival that I have enjoyed in the past, we have Red Leicester cheese and stilton but the foxes are not doing so well this year. Glad you have enjoyed Mallory were you racing?
Well fancy that,i live 5 miles from Spalding & love Stamford, red leicester cheese is always on our list of cheese, him indoors loves stilton but i hate it,i was a willing spectator when dad raced in the late 70's in brother raced about 15 years ago
xx
what a small world sister snail, and you have made me feel so welcome to this group which I thank you for, I only found it by chance as been in carers only and oesophageal, but wondered about looking for friendship and light relief. So I shall leave Stilton and Red Leicester with biscuits on the table, red wine goes lovely with it so have opened a bottle and left it to breath enjoy xx
Bless you polarbear,i too came upon this place by chance & had the hand of friendship extended to me when i was feeling lost & afraid & like i have said already this is a safe haven where i can come & forget & enjoy a little light hearted banter with friends & cake that won't make me fat,i flit in & out of several groups but am mostly found in here or breast, the wine sounds very tempting but as i'm under doctors orders i'll have a cuppa with my cheese & biscuits
xx
Hi all. The tempting smells of Stilton and red wine have beckoned me gently, Mmm! Thank you Polarbear, and welcome. You can't be far from my daughter who lives near Market Bosworth, so I'm getting familiar with that area now. Lovely farm nearby selling home made unpasteurised cheese. Yum! I shall return the favours and make a Canterbury pie for tomorrow. Cheers girls, shake me gently if I snore! X
