    Hello everybody

I thought it might be moomy

Well i don't know about stitches, today we had a heart in mouth moment,i went to put breakfast pots in the kitchen & was giving Vince a commentary of what was going on in the garden "Polly's fast asleep on Puds old bed in the drive ,one of the kittens has gone to bed & OH MY GOD,QUICK,COME & LOOK AT THIS" calm as you like Willow was walking along the top of a 7 foot fence, not seen Vince move so fast in a long time,he went & got her down & told her not to do that again & she was a naughty girl, she just looked at him over her shoulder & walked away

Hope all have had a good day

    Love & hugs

    xx

  • Phew! Heart-attack time, eh?!?

it's at times like that, that you have to remind yourself that they almost always land safely on all four paws, but it isn't easy!

Had a really lazy day after waking early, just a sofa day with occasional breaks, like getting repeat prescriptions in and a teeny bit of shopping.

Hope all are well as possible.....

    hugs to everyone xxx

Nice to see you've had a relaxing day, hope you feel chilled & rested now

We've always had cats but i've never known any to be as naughty as Willow is,when we found them i though she would be the quiet one & that Medusa would be trouble but as they're getting older it seems i was wrong,if there's mischief to be had Willow is at the front of the queue,i did have a fit of the giggles later as i just had this vision of her walking along the fence with a plant pot on her head

Came home full of good intentions & all i've done is cook tea (dinner if you're posh) & read the paper,i would say i'll do it tomorrow but we're out with friends so it will be friday now befor i get round to it

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

    Hi all,

Sorry for my absence, busy back at work and burning the candle both ends!

I've tried to catch up with all the posts and you all seem to be chipper which is fab.

Jasmin, so pleased to hear you got out in the garden, a bit of sunshine does wonders, hope the weather continues to be kind.

Christine, great pic, glad you enjoyed Paris, did you bring cheese And wine back?? What's your next plan?

Lynda, 2 year old boys, love em but tiring or what? My nephew is 2 and he never stops moving or talking, it's such a fun age!

Carol, those crazy cats keep me giggling. Christmas, really surely that is ages away? We are hoping to be in the French Alps skiing on Christmas Day, we tend to do one year at home and one skiing, I love skiing on Christmas Day as the slopes are always quiet!

Gillian, oh yes Moomy is right, chemo brain so is a thing! Even three months on my memory is pants. Glad you not feeling too bad though, you seem to be doing really well.

Moomy, from Lymphoma post you can't make meet up, I was looking forward to a real hug as your virtual ones are so fab.

update on lungs/steroids I can reduce to 20mg steroids in another week then 15 mg 3 weeks later thank goodness! After that they want to reduce really slowly and monitor closely (I am hoping my moon face may reduce with a lower dose lol!).

    love to everyone

    Hi all

Hope everybody is well as can be & have had a good day

Jakki,i do hope you're not doing too much, pleased to hear you've started reducing the steroid dose, fingers all goes well for you, skiing in France for Christmas, how lovely,i'm supposed to be having a constructive evening for the Christmas fayre but i can't see that happening,i have my lazy head on now,did you want Willow because today i'd willingly parcel her up & send her to you,in the space of 15 minutes she'd scratched & bitten me,had another whack from Polly, had a fight with Medusa & when i left to fetch Vince home she was sat on top of he scratching post eyeing a shirt sleeve up to use as a swing

I can smell my chicken cooking so had better get the veg on or tea will be late & Vince is out tonight :-) & i don't want to make him late leaving

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

    Hi all,

i need a big hug please.

had a really bad night and I wasn't sure why, but realised it was because I started to make Christmas cards yesterday (I usually make all my cards). I think doing it brought back the thoughts of last Christmas when Jon was so ill, and also brought on the worry about how I will get through this Christmas and the first anniversary of his death.

so I put the card making stuff away and I will buy my cards this year. I can try and ignore Christmas until I get back from Budapest in December.

Carol, your description of naughty willow did make me laugh.

  • Hi Lynda,

    One gigantic hug coming up......((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))))

which I hope helps a bit....

Yes, I too giggled at Willow, Carol....

    hugs to you all xxx
