  • Hello everyone, or should I rather say goodnight.....

been a bit reticent the last few days, not on here that much though I have been reading.

Thank you for the treats, there's a bottle of a nice brandy in the cupboard in case the Pimms is a bit cool, with these darker, cooler evenings somehow one wants a warming drink now and then!

Hugs to you all, especially big hugs for anyone who is in need xxx

Afternoon all, I hope everyone is Ok on this grey day

I am feeling chipper today even though I seem to have chemo brain. Have others experienced this strange woolly headed feeling.

I hope those who are on holiday are having a lovely time. We are off to the Lakes at the weekend.

    Hugs to everyone

  • Hi Gillian,

chemo brain is a well known phenomenon, and even the medics now have a term for it! 'cancer and treatment cognitive impairment'! But I think chemo brain is more explanatory!

Hope you enjoy the Lakes, it's a beautiful part of the world, but hope we get decent weather for you for that, I've been there when all it did was rain, but also when it was the end of a drought, and also in the snow, and anything and everything in between!

Hope everyone is ok, Christine, when is Paris ( or have you already returned?) I hope we get some photos? Hint hint!

Lynda, have you moved in yet? I hope it's all you wanted, and you get all your furniture moved to suit....

Carol, how are the kittens, (and your scratched arms? )

Jakki, hope you aren't too exhausted by the rainy forest day?

Keith and Jasmin, thinking of you both

    hugs to you all xxx

    Hi all,

sorry i have been a bit absent......family visiting including 2 year old grandson so it's a bit chaotic. I'm not planning on moving in until the end of October. Hopefully the bathroom will be finished this week, the wardrobes have been installed, washing machine Wednesday, curtains being fitted next week, but I am still waiting for furniture.

Carol, how are those kittens and mum?

    Chistine.....yes photos Please.

gillian, the forecast for this weekend up here is ok I think.

    Hello everybody

Hope you have a fab weekend Gillian,i've only spent the odd day in the lake district & one of those was a WI trip & we spent most of the day on a bus

Sounds like things are moving along nicely Lynda, hope the move goes smoothly for you, don't know why but i had it in my head you were moving this weekend same as my brother, must be going bonkers

Christine, hope Paris is/was or will be wonderful

Pud has had a bit of a strop on last couple of days but i do believe that's because he's a bit jealous of the girls & Polly keeps nipping in at every opportunity, the girls are all fine now,Medusas poorly leg was a sprain which we think she did playing with a dead mouse,£28 & 2 hours after antiinflamatory injection she was running round like a loony,Willow is a little bugger & if there's any trouble to find she's there with bells & knobs on,the latest game is sticking her head in an empty plant pot & rolling round outside the back door with it still on,she's also rather fond of leaping at the washing to see if she can swing on it,we still get ambushed when we go to feed them & if you stand still long enough one or other of them will be half way up your trouser leg or hanging on the bottom of your skirt, the hedgehog is still sharing their biscuits but i think it must be a teenager as it eats & runs

    xx

    Hello everyone.

    Hope all ok,

Carol those kittens sound lovely, they will give hours of fun and will make you laugh everyday with their antics.

Glad you enjoyed Paris Christine, you must feel a sense of achievement, it can't  have been easy and probably difficult at times but you have done it.

    Hope you are ok Moomy.

Gillian, hope you are feeling ok and enjoy your break in the lakes.

Things seem to still be moving along with your house Lynda, sounds like you will need to put your feet up when you move in.  Hope your holiday was ok

Best wishes to you and Rosemary Keith

I managed to get Mick out in the garden over the weekend for an hour each day, such a small thing but so nice, nearly felt normal watching the fish in the pond together, if only for a little while. The weather was beautiful both days here.  Hope you all had a good weekend.
