Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Thanks for the understanding. I don't want to let the two of you down. But I do know everyone has been telling me I am overdoing things. Having stopped this week I feel quite ill....so maybe you are all right.
the bad news today is that having taken the flooring up in the bathroom to put down the new tiles the plumber has found bad wet rot in the joists. He thinks the previous floor wasn't put down properly. The only good this is that he has found it, I'm not living there in the mess, and he can fix it.
That's fine Lynda, just let us know if and when you are happy to meet up. Take care and rest and relax xx
Oh Lynda, what a pain.....but as you say, at least it's before you move in, and any mess can be cleared ready for you! Again, thank goodness you have a good plumber! Hope you feel better soon.....
Jasmin, so sorry you've been down, that was the reason I 'upped stcks' and shot up to get daughter out of her down time. Hope you are a bit brighter now....
Jakki, enjoy your weekend, it sounds lovely, catching up with all you had to miss.
Carol, hope you've managed to sort out cats and kittens, my, you have taken on a little!
Christine, hope you are a bit brighter,
Keith, hope you and Rosemary are as well as possible, and she enjoyed the pottery session.
sending you all hugs xxxx
Moomy
Well at 5am we finally gave in & let her out as the mowing was by then pitiful & she was scratting the carpet up,all is now calm inside & out
I am now working enough hours to sign off job seekers & call myself employed again, big smile on my face when i made that phone call today
The meal was lovely,we went to a goan restaurant & i had the fish stew & i'll have that again
Oh Lynda, how awful to find that leak, good to know it will be fixed when you get home
Love & hugs to all
xx
Thank you for your messages.
Lynda please take care of yourself, at least your holiday is fast approaching so you can rest and relax. Sorry about your bathroom but good it can be sorted out whilst you are away.
Jakki, please don't apologise for spelling my name wrong, its been spelt many different ways over the years. Really hope you have a lovely weekend, all those parties rolled into one.
Hope your daughter is ok Moomy, she is very fortunate to have you around.
How are you Christine? Hopefully ok.
Hope the cats are all ok Carol.
Best wishes to keith and Rosemary.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend xx
Thanks everyone.
overall im glad I know about the problem and it will be fixed before I move in. It would have been much worse later.
its good that Polly is ok now. Like any mum I expect she was glad to see her babies, even if they didn't mind her being away.....bit like any teenager!
Jasmin, hope you are feeling a bit better now and Mick is still coping. When is his next follow up?
hugs everyone,
Just sending you all big hugs, hope those who are feeling sad feel better tomorrow......

Moomy
