    Hi all,

i had to laught at the thought of Polly now trying to spring her way out.....after all those months trying to get in!

i had a call from National Grid today, the gas will be connected to my house in 20 days....pretty good as they said 10 weeks last week. It won't make much difference really as the central heating can't be done until mid November due to the plumbers workload. Still it's all falling into place now.

bought sun tan lotion today. The forecast is for sunshine in Dalyan all week and temperatures of 30 to 34 degrees.

now I'm sitting here in floods of tears watching Corrie!

I don't watch Corrie Lynda but I did walk in while Juliette was watching it and had to leave the room. I had tears watching Eastenders. Why on earth do these soaps have to be so damn sad. They are supposed to be light entertainment.

I am so envious thinking of you in Turkey with all that warmth and the relaxation treatments. I wish I had booked it! Ope you have a wonderful time.x Do you think our lakes weekend will still be on the cards?

Carol good luck with all the cats.

Gillian and Jakki hope you are ok. And Jasmine hope things are ok with you.

Moomy hope you are not too tired and your daughter is ok.

Keith love to,you and Rosemary xx

hope I haven't forgotten anyone  Night night xxxx

Hello All, Just popped in with a glass of wine, will leave the rest of the bottle on the table in case anyone joins me. Lynda, exciting stuff, we went to Turkey on honeymoon loved it! It was not a massively popular destination 19 years ago but it was fab. We went to Ephesus on an overnight trip whilst there, it was breathtaking. Hope you have a brilliant time. Christine, I don't watch soaps either, mainly because, as you said, they are really sad and depressing sometimes, I'd much rather laugh than cry! Saying that, I watched The C Word tonight, taped it during treatment but decided to save it until I was in remission! Hope you are feeling well lovely. Carol, that Polly is certainly keeping you on your toes, she sounds like a fun, but contrary, little madam. Hope you have enjoyed your meal out. Moomy, the zip wire place in Wales looks amazing, we plan to go when we just have our boys. We didn't go last week cos the little pickles are too small, let me know what it's like. I love a spa day, sis and I are due a spa break must get that booked! Gillian, thanks for the heads up about the Bletchly Park programme will Sky Plus it. Hope you are feeling ok and managing to get out and about. Jasmine, Keith everyone else hope you are well Love Jakki xx

Hello everyone, been keeping up with all your activities but haven't posted, not been feeling too well, and a bit down - never mind bit better now.

Glad the visit to the vets is done, have they forgiven you yet Carol.  Hope you enjoyed your meal.

You seem to be very busy Moomy.  Hope you enjoy your spa day.

Hope your holiday goes well Lynda,  not long now, have you told the cats yet?

Hello to Keith and Rosemary, hope you are both ok.

Hope you enjoy our break Gillian.

Hi Christine, hope yesterday went well and it has helped.

    Love to all Jasmin xx

    Morning Jasmin,

Sorry for spelling your name wrongly yesterday, I added an e! Sorry you have been feeling down, sending hugs.

    All,

Really looking forwards to the weekend, I am having a family party. My two sisters and brother with their lot including great niece and nephew and mum and stepdad. When I was having chemo I was unable to go to a couple of birthday parties so we are having ice cream at our local dairy farm then party games and food at my house on Sunday. Will pop in with left over party food on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Love Jakki xx

    Morning all,

dull day here, but at least it isn't raining.

i am hoping we can still do the weekend Christine. My only worry is that it's going to come up right when I am due to be moving. But I expect I can sort things. Kim didn't reply so at the moment it's just the two of us and Siobhan. Are you thinking of coming sat going home Sunday, or coming Friday?

We have a little sunshine but cooler.

Lynda I can see that weekend will be in the middle of your moving plans which is why I asked. I quite understand if you want to put it on hold!

i would come Saturday as I look after the children on Friday, however please don't feel obliged to do it you have enough to do!

I think Kim has opted out she sent A message to say she was trying to forget everything that had happened and move on.
