  • For us here, progress is being made! We had a retail day yesterday, with deep chats over lunch out at the Trafford Centre, and I think it's helped. Today I'm packing, we are both driving through to the Christie, I will take my book, while she has an hour with the Psychologist who she sees when needed. Then I can drive back if she's been crying, and then through to the station in Macclesfield, so I can catch the train home. Then she will come down by train probably Friday. So all seems easier....

    hugs xxx

Thanks for the hugs Moomy I need one today.

Good luck with the vets Carol and look after your back. Glad you have good weather it is rotten here. We had thunder storms hailstone storms and torrential rain yesterday and now it is just gloomy. Like my mood sadly.

Hugs to all hope you have the best day you can xx

Well that went better than expected, slight struggle getting them all in the basket & yes blood was drawn but not much this time & all 3 were on their best behaviour for the vet,Polly's back again tomorrow to be spayed & chipped & then they're all back monday for 1st injections

Big hug coming your way Christine

Hope all goes well for your daughter Moomy

    xx

  • Typical daughter, plans change.....so then it was me driving her back to her place via M&S for a meal, we ate, chatted and then she dropped me to the station.

but the counselling went well, I think the deep chats we had over lunch yesterday helped prepare the ground. But I came home by train and daughter might or might not come by train at the weekend, depending on whether she takes on work or not! Heck!

Big hugs to you all, avoiding your scratches, Carol xxx

  • Awww, Jakki,

I'm trying to.....latest news, she is treating me to a zip wire challenge in just over a week, in North Wales! Hahaha, I did ask her to check that older folk are ok on this.....lol! I have a couple of vouchers for a lovely Spa hotel not far from here, will book up and stay over for a night (Whittlebury Hall).

    Hope all are well

Gosh Moomy a zip wire challenge, sooner you than me,i'd go for the spa any day, make sure you get that booked & have a lovely chill & rest

No scratches today,Polly was a very good girl & took it all in her stride, she is however trying very hard to escape, vet said we need to keep her in again as she may still be groggy from anesthetic but if you ask me she's quite the opposite,at the moment she's in the bathroom but everytime Vince opens the door she makes an escape, runs downstairs & i carry her back up again, think she misses her babies even though they're not in the slightest bit bothered about her being missing,i was going to take the kittens together but after tonights performance i think not, trouble is i find it funny but Vince doesn't & i've not helped matters by laughing when he cut his nose having a shave

Tonight we're off for a meal with friends, not sure where were going but i think it's indian

Love & hugs to all & special hugs to those that need them

    xx
