Hi all,

its all ordered. Most stuff will be there Tuesday and they will liaise with the plumber to find out when he wants it delivered. The bath will be Friday because I want a shower bath, P shape, with whirlpool. Bet the plumber says that is fine as he has plenty of other stuff to do first.

black floor tiles with a slight sparkle, plain white wall tiles but they have a wobbly surface so it looks like a subtle pattern. 

Yes, it will be great to have it all done. One less thing to worry about. 

Doing nothing ing can be lovely when you have someone to do it with.

Carol, glad your day at the beach was fun, I can't believe how lucky we were with the weather in Wales. We are home now and I'm shattered but very chilled. (Slept until 6:40 this morning which is the latest since I started the steroids 4 weeks ago.)

Have left crackers and cheese for all as I need to be on a healthy eating mission for the next couple of weeks. Steroids and two holidays haven't done much for my waistline!

i have nabbed some of your cheese thanks. Put a bottle of port in there, I've had it since Christmas but it is fine!

its amazing to think the bathroom will be all done in a couple of weeks. Son is coming over to do one ceiling tomorrow, so hopefully they will get done too. Then of course I am going to have to start packing stuff. 

I had a gentle day today, made a birthday card for Jons mum, and printed some photos to put in a multi frame I bought. Picked up prescription from the chemist. Apart from that I did nothing all day.

What a flipping horrible day,it's absolutely pouring down here & i got flipping soaked coming home from work,thanks for the cheese & crackers Jakki but i'd better not have any port Lynda as i have my mate later & the terrible twos have just hit,we now have proper paddys when mummy goes,she's quite funny when she's rolling round on the floor kicking & screaming,she keeps looking at me to see what i'm doing then starts again,they usually last about 2 minutes then she puts herself on the naughty step till i say lets have a look at this book,i don't leave her there long,hopefully we won't get one tonight as i'm taking her to feed the neighbours dog when mummy goes to work

Keith,i do hope things we you are ok,like your sweetpea i spent a lot of time with my granddads & have loads of brilliant memories,we spent lots of time in gardens & greenhouses & both of them would be horrified at the state of our garden,i don't think either of them ever realised it was being with them that i loved & not the actual gardening

Hi everyone, I had a tearful video call yesterday, so as son was about to pop in and hubs had already had a beer, I asked son if he'd drop me at the railway station. Of course he did, and daughter met me. Think she has some issues, but has a psych appointment Wednesday so that should help. 

But we had a very late dinner together, chats and giggles, she went to bed feeling a good bit happier in spite of the weather forecast.....oh my where was summer? 

This morning in spite of a really late night I'm up and breakfasted, but there's no movement yet from daughter......yes, the weather is exactly as forecast, wet! 

Hope you are all doing as ok as possible?

I am doing Ok thanks for all your good wishes. We are going out for lunch because it is sich a miserable day. Rang a local pub, restaurant and booked a table.

Aw Moomy sending you huge hugs and strength to keep helping your girl! She has been through such a lot but is so lucky to have such a supportive family. Glad you were able to send her off to bed with a smile, they never stop being our babies! Xxxx
