    Morning all,

Aw Moomy freezer door nightmare! I am determined the next one I buy will beep if you leave it open! On the plus side you could make a lovely crumble and leave it here tonight lol.

Lynda, glad you had a lovely weekend, Christmas presents-wow! That's organised. I can't believe how quickly you have cracked on with the new house, bet it's looking great.

Carol, loving your positivity, fair not great-bring on the next one, you are an inspiration!

Fun is being had in Wales, raincoats are in good use as is expected here. We had a fab day at the beach, wetsuits are a must, it's a bit chilly but bodyboarding and cricket were fun.

    Take care all

    Love Jakki xx

    Good morning my lovely friends

Oh no Moomy, what a bummer, somebody (who shall remain nameless) unplugged mine once & forgot to plug it back in,it was a puddle on the kitchen floor that gave that one away,it's like a madhouse here this morning,Willow & Medusa are rushing round the garden like lunatics, poor Polly is trying to find a safe haven & Pud has decided that he needs to play with the elastic band that Vince is trying to kill a fly with, thank heavens i'm now on my way out the door

    xx

  • Jakki, I thought you were away from wifi in darkest Peru - sorry, Wales?

Carol, I saved a bit of food, thankfully, it hadn't all gone mushy, and made 1 1/2 lbs of jelly, it set really well, so will pop one of them in here with scones and whipped cream......those mad kittens! Poor Polly, she must be sending Pud mad trying to escape to your place! I remember when I used to pop round to a school friend, they had just got a ginger tom kitten, it used to get to the agitated and daft kitten point where it literally ran round the walls!

Hope you manage to find BP, Carol, if you are in any doubt, it is almost opposite Bletchley railway station, in Sherwood Drive, you can drive in and they will tell you where to park. Block C is the visitors entrance and short exhibition, block B is out of there and a bit up the hill, on your right, there will be a grey haired biddy waiting downstairs!

    Hugs xxx

    Good evening all

I'd love to say that all's quiet with the kittens but even rain's not stopped play,Polly has been in for a little while again,we had her & pud in the room together earlier,i had Polly & Vince had Pud.Polly was ok but Pud wasn't too happy about it

We have the postcode ready to put in satnav in the morning when we leave Moomy,we're aiming to be there between 11 & 11.30,we're both really looking forward to meeting you & having a look round,i do hope there's somewhere that does a good cup of tea & slice of cake as i'm always ready for one when we arrive anywhere, not been anywhere today as i had work & job centre,we just nipped to a lovely craft place to pick up some pliers & bits & pieces for making bracelets & keyrings,at the minute i'm just playing but hopefully i'll soon be able to make stuff that's good enough to sell

Sounds like you're having a brilliant holiday Jakki,i shall be calling in here tomorrow when we get home to let you know how the day was,it will soon be time we got together again & had afternoon tea in the park

How's the painting going Lynda, pleased you had a good weekend away & a good rest,Ruby knows where she lives now & has settled in very nicely, she sleeps on Nicolas bed & loves playing with the little boy,Polly is the problem as she keeps trying to fetch her back, hopefully she'll soon realise that she doesn't live here anymore & will stop trying to drag her through the catflap by the neck

Christine my lovely lady i hope you're keeping well,i'm sending you a special hug

Gillian, how exciting meeting wild animals while you were out for a walk, most excitement we get is when Medusa thinks she's a tiger & leaps at you from under the lavender bush & Willow then ambushes you from under the elder bush,i love watching Vince with 3 cats in a tangle round his feet in the morning

Hope everybody else is doing ok

Sending you all massive hugs & lots of love

    xx

That image of polly trying to drag ruby through the cat flap made me chuckle. Maybe pud will get used to polly in the end. I finished the gloss in the hall and kitchen today. So just the walls in those two rooms to do, plus 4 ceilings to get my son to do when I can persuade him. Two beds being delivered Wednesday, the third bed and the fitted wardrobes are bing done 15th sept. I'm still waiting for the quotes from the plumbers. Enjoy your day out tomorrow. Love to everyone,

Hi Gillian, sorry to hear you have to have blood but hopefully it will give you a boost!!

Carol thanks for your lovely hugs. I am OK. Have a lovely day and give Moomy a hug for us all.

Going to Brighton tomorrrow on a day trip with local coach company. Will give me chance to meet up with Wendy for a few hours as it was really cheap. I can catch up on sleep as well on the journey there and back. Sadly it looks to be a bit wet to say the least but never mind!

Lynda you are still working too hard. Bet it looks lovely though.

Love to all and hope the sunshine returns xx

You have been busy Lynda,i do admire you getting on with the decorating like you have, hope you can persuade your son to get the ceilings done,do you have a moving date,i hate decorating but i do enjoy putting the furniture in different places till i get it right,i can't see Pud letting Polly in all the time, he wasn't too happy that i'd got her & when she sits on the window ledge he tries to put a paw out & i'm sure he's trying to shove her off

Sorry to her about your blood results Gillian, when are you next due your chemo, you're right about those kittens being a handful but they're little sweeties as well,i never thought we'd end up keeping 1 of them let alone 2,i laughed when Nicola was telling me about Polly & Ruby but i don't think they were too happy to be woken up at 3am by the rumpus that was going on,i've just been out & done the last feed of the day & it was like doing an army assault course with all 3 of them round my legs

Well my lovelies i'm away to my bed know,it's been a long & busy day & i need my ugly sleep

    See you tomorrow Moomy

Hope all sleep well & whatever you're doing tomorrow have a lovely day ( hope that transfusion isn't too grim Gillian)

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

Lynda, I hope you get that help with the ceilings, they are a real shoulder-breaker!

Keith, I will tell Carol what went on at BP.....

Moomy I hope you enjoyed your day out at BP - fascinating stuff

I have been having great fun with the idea of the kittens, Ruby not wanting to leave but her mother trying to drag her away

Lynda you are an inspiration with all your work on the house. Good luck with everything I am sure it will be wonderful.

I am now sorted, blood transfusion tomorrow and chemo on Thursday - I might be allowed to stay at home on Friday without the intervention of anything medical. Then on Saturday we have friends coming round to run trains round the garden, so hopefully the weather will stay fine and we will have a great day.
