Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Morning all,
Book club, yes please I love a read. Can I join both clubs as I have very eclectic taste in books, like a trashy romance, classic and non fiction equally and will often have more than one on the go. Have read loads since being on these dreaded steroids as I am up so early. I would recommend Go Set a Watchman, very thought-provoking but just as easy to read as To Kill a Mokingbird.
We head to Wales today for a family holiday today; mum and step dad with us for the whole week, little sis coming for one night but leaving my gorgeous nephews for the week while she goes back to work. (Yeah littlies on the beach, I miss that!), big sis is coming for Sunday and Monday night with my great niece who is 11 and very outnumbered by boys in our family! Think we might have to do a girly face mask and nail paint one of the evenings!
I haven't seen my two sisters since my all clear so I am sure we will get through some fizz.
Hope everyone is well, Christine I am thinking about you and sending hugs.
Gillian, how is the chemo going?
Carol and Moomy, have a great day on Tuesday looking forward to hearing all about it.
love to all

Have a fab time in wales Jakki,we will also be on the beach with smalls on wednesday, every year we have a day on the beach with our friends & their 3 girls & another couple who.like us don't have any,a day full of laughter, sandcastle building & paddling,we do a massive picnic between us & spend the day chilling,we're very much looking forward to our day at BP & meeting Moomy,i will tell you all about it when we get home,i do hope we won't have to read the same books in the book club,i have about 50 & am not sure i need to but anymore just yet,do you want them when i'm done with them,i'm sure we can come up with a way to get them to you
Only 3 more sleeps Moomy & we'll be on our way to see you, actually i think i was swept out of the right pub,if it had been a different one i wouldn't i would't have met Vince, strictly speaking that's not true as we used to work at the same place but i'd never taken any notice of him, being swept out of the door made me see him in a different light
Hope all are drinking plenty on this glorious day,we have windows & doors open but can't seem to catch a breeze, hope it's a wee bit cooler tomorrow for our medieval day,Vince is going as a monk & he'll do nothing but whine if he's too hot,i've just tried my outfit on & it looks ok,box is packed with cakes etc for the stall all i need now is for Vince to get his wands out so i can price them up & we're ready to go
Love & hugs to all
xx

Hello
Well what a flipping disaster today was,the weather was glorious & the lady in charge very kindly put us indoors so we weren't bothered by wasps, unfortunately not many people came to the event,we made £7.50 but that was more than the lady next to us made & like i said to Vince it's a cuppa & cake one day next week while we're out, please help yourself to cake, there was lots left so i brought it here, the caraway seed cake is lovely,i'm now planning what to make for the christmas craft weekend,no cakes this time but i'll be doing bunting with stockings that spell merry christmas,i've just had Vince doing templates for them & triangles, today wasn't a complete waste of time though as i got a magazine with instructions how to crochet a bracelet & had a go,for a first attempt it wasn't to bad so i might make some more for wands 'n' wotnots
Hope all have had a good day & are doing ok
Love & hugs to all
xx
You are all so busy, it makes me tired just reading your posts. Sorry you had a poor day at the fair. I guess that can be the way it goes, hopefully the next one will be better.
Fun on the beach sounds good, sandcastles and picnics. I was brought up by the sea so we didn't do much of that sort of thing, it was always too busy.
Just been for our evening constitutional and met a panda and a tiger, I think they had forgotten they had faces painted as they were surprised when we made a comment. Hehe.
Oh Carol, so sorry it didn't all go to plan! But you've already come away thinking of another, what a lady you are!
Hahaha, Gillian that sounds really funny, bless them!
Been really quiet today - well, until I realised the freezer had decided to open its door! So had to defrost, and then chuck away stuff going off, and cook the soft fruit that I was going to have bit by bit, now I need to make jam from it! Heck!
Hugs xxx
