Hello everyone,

the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx

  • Hi Keith,

fabulous mosaic, Spitfires were an iconic plane, if ever we get a fly past at BP the whole place is out watching! We had a link with the BBMF and they used to fly a Lanc if the weather was ok, that engine noise is one I will never, ever forget, and managed to get a short video on my phone.

Wuthering Heights was one of our Eng Lit books, loved it!

Carol and Jakki, I sing too, am in the Open university choir, but with advancing years my vocal range has dropped, I'm now a definite alto!

Gillian, there are quite a few Bombe demos on you tube, hubs is bald, well built and short......!

    Take care, all......

    hugs xxx

All those things you mention will give you calories to enable you to run up that hill.

That's my sort of diet Jakki

Well i'm game if you are,i love hounds of love as well,i always have a cd playing in the car,at the minute it's big country as i'm practicing ready for when i see them in october

Not sure what my voice is Moomy but i have been known to be both of the Everly brothers when i'm cleaning with my headphones on & as far as i'm concerned i do a damn fine Amy Whinehouse

The little tabby went to her new home tonight, fingers crossed Polly doesn't go & fetch her back,i just need to check & see if Medusa has a home or if she'll be staying here till we can find her a home

Hope you're all having better weather than us this evening,it's chucking it down

    xx

  • Weather, eh? It's been cloudy and cool all day here, daughter got back from recording and said it had been raining all day! Amazing what a few miles east or west can do......

Carol, looking forward to next Tuesday, I will most likely be free enough to spend some time with you, with luck, as it's our Engineering day and we don't really do formal demos......

glad Polly is getting her life back( well, until the chop, that is!) but hope she leaves the local kittens to their new home.

Hugs to you all, xxx (lLynda, rest those shoulders!)

Pleased you're taking some time out tomorrow Lynda, hope you enjoy looking for curtains

Just Medusa to go now as Willow is staying with us,i think Polly is relieved to see them go as they're getting very adventurous now, mind you they've spent most of today in bed watching the rain, not sure yet as i'm having a job getting hold of cats protection league to see if we can get it done cheaper,if i can't get them tomorrow afternoon i'll start ringing vets to see how much it will cost,we'll also have to get Willow done as well, the little toms are happy in their new home & Jacqueline sent me a lovely photo of Agostini tonight who looks very chilled & at home

    xx

    Hi everyone.

Hope you have a successful curtain shopping day Lynda, how many pairs are you looking for?

Good to know the kittens are happy in their new homes, I think if you have more than 1 cat 'chopped' you get discount, we did when ours were done.

Hope you are ok too Christine, Gillian, Moomy, Jakki and Keith.

Really dull miserable day here all day but a beautiful sunset to end the day.

    Xx

Three pairs for now, lounge, dining room and main bedroom. All floor length big windows and not standard sizes. I think I will have to have them made to measure, so the plan is to find the material, then get someone out to properly measure up for me.

we had a lovely sunset too.
