Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Hi all,
my, you talk about me being busy, Lynda! You've been hugely busy yourself, but that quiet spot looks lovely, might mentally join you! ( mind, think it is due to carry on raining tomorrow too....!)
Christine, hope you are working out what to pack for Paris! and I hope the young man is better now, sounds nasty....
Jasmin, no, honestly I do slow down now and then.... Carol, daughter is only over to Peterborough for one gig, not even sure where, then she will go back home from there, our house might get a bit emty then! She joked that she leaves stuff all over the place, - it's true, she does!
Carol, I am NOT going back up in the loft till daughter is here for a few days next time, the bruises and aches have to heal first!
Jakki, enjoy the last few days or weeks of that lovely holiday, you certainly deserve it!
Gillian, glad the reduced chemo seems to be suiting you better....
me? Had a lovely treat, I've found a small beauty salon nearby, had an aromatherapy massage, facial and manicure, 2plus hours of pamper treat! She was warned about the bruises I've picked up ( I bruise very easily!) and found the knotty bits over my shoulders for herself! I feel much looser as a result, think this will have to be a regular!
Hugs to you all xxx
Moomy
Hi everyone
Hope you had a good day today not too much rain.
I have had a sad day, started by me thinking how Ray would feel about the weather today and then....... This realisation sets in. The babes are lovely and Jacob full of beans again. Just me and Emilia today while he went to holiday club. Just wanted to cry and ached for a hug from Ray. No one really hugs me any more except the little ones. Anyway my lovely big Grandson came home and he gave me a big hug. I am so lucky I know that, lovely family and made some wonderful caring understanding friends. Just hate being a "single " person.
Jasmin I hope all is quiet with you and Mick is OK.
Moomy take more care of yourself ! Take a rest for a while. I don't know what to pack for Paris, it is hard choosing for yourself. Will wait and see what the weather will be like I think. I do have plenty of choices.
Have a good weekend Gillian.
Carol I bet the bowling alley is gleaming.
Lynda good luck for your holiday to Turkey want to hear all about that and your other adventures. What a busy life you have just now xx
Love to all x
Hi,
it's been raining all day here.
Christine, I know what you mean about hugs. I get them from my son whenever he has been to see me and us leaving. I really appreciate them. Glad your grandson gave you one, even if it isn't the same as that special one.
just a word of warning. I found packing just for me really hard when I went awayFor the first time. I don't know why but my brain just couldn't deal with it. So my advice would be to make a list in advance. I did the second time and it was easier.
i have had a day off from painting today. So instead I have phoned the water people to register, phoned eon to get them to spell my name right, phoned a window guy to come and fix a locked window with missing key (vendor paying him). Sorted all my accounts so I can see how much money I am spending.......gosh paint is expensive. Hoovered the apartment, planned the new bathroom, looked into bedroom furniture. Asked a local Way up friend for a recommendation for a plumber in case I need a second quote. I think it's easier painting!
hope everyone else has had a good day.
I hope you're feeling better now Christine & i'm sending a special Carol hug to cheer you up,so pleased Jacob is better bet you had a lovely girlie day & what a lovely thoughtful grandson you have
So pleased you had a little ride out Jasmin, the kittens are so naughty, one of them squeezed through a gap in the fence today & the neighbour found her wandering round on the drive, they spend a lot of time playing on the patio & outside the back door now & the latest trick is to stand on the doorstep & tap a paw on the door, poor old Pud's not impressed & when he sees them there's a lot of grumbling going on
Pleased you've had a rest & a treat Moomy & don't shout at me it was Jasmin who said you should go back up the loft,if you do find out where & when your daughter's in Peterborough let me know please & i'll try & get to see her perform
What did you do with your day off Lynda, hope it was something restful
How are you Gillian, hope you're doing ok
Sending love & hugs to all
xx
Oh Christine, would love to give you a hug, though of course I know it wouldn't be the same......we are a family which hugs all the time, if any of those go I think it would hit us all very hard. Sending you a special hug all for yourself....
Lynda, I'm so glad you are taking it a bit easier, and yes, paint is astonishingly pricey!
Sorry, Carol, yes I typed that all in a rush, I know it wasn't you wanting me to get back in the loft, yet! Gillian, no, the loft is out of bounds till the bruises go!
Jasmin, hope he is doing ok, and also that you are ok too.
Carol, those mews sound like hard work! Sooner they go to their new homes, the better, it seems! I have had a look in our shared diary but the venue in Peterborough isn't there, will keep an eye just in case, it's a session for or with someone called Malc Melling, on Tuesday......at a guess it's a recording session.
Big hugs for you all xxx
Moomy
Hi everyone,
Miserable day to go with the miserable weather, perhaps the sun will come out tomorrow and brighten things up.
Hope you feel a little better Christine, I feel tearful just thinking about how you are feeling...... glad your grandson helped a little. How long before you go away?
Have the kittens got their little cases packed yet? I expect Pudd will be waving them goodbye with a grin!
Hope your arm didn't ache with all those phone calls Lynda.
Hope you are both ok Moomy and Gillian
Xx
The 2 toms are going tomorrow,Jacqueline that i talk to on the BC forum is having them,we're meeting them halfway & going to properly meet, half of me is pleased they're going but the other half is sad & i'll miss them but i know they're going to be loved & well looked after,i think the tabby will be going sunday but i'll still see her as she's only going 4 doors away from us,not sure when Medusa is going yet as they are still on holiday
xx
Ahh so sad. Although I wonder if tabby will really go? I suspect she will share her time between you.
Well yet another eventful evening. Daughter and I just settled down to a nice Chinese from morrisons whlie the men are out at football when little Granddaughter wakes up and guess what she has the sickness bug. I had finished my meal thank goodness bit washing all night again!! I was never destined to have a quiet life was I.
I hope the kittens give lots of love to their new owners Carol, they won't go out of your life xx
Sorry I made you feel sad Jasmine, I do try to be cheerful but it is hard.
Goodnight all hope we all get some sleep
Christine,
You wrote - "No one really hugs me any more except the little ones."
That is so sad. You have helped so many people in so many ways and I know that if they could, they would all give you the biggest hug. I know it's not the same though. I'm so sorry.
Keith xx
