Hi mum2monkeys
I flit in & out of a few forums but this is where i am the most, everybody on here has been kind & welcoming, you can be silly or serious on here & no matter which you are there is always somebody to join in,this room is warm in winter, cool in summer & always welcoming,i hope you can find the same love & support in here that i have
There are some misshapen jam & lemoncurd tarts & some little chocolate cakes for you to try & even if i am blowing my own trumpet they're very nice
Well not only is Polly eating me out of house & home she went to where she had the kittens & had another breakfast there, how cheeky is that
Just had call from mum to say dads oncologist is pleased with how things are going so i've put strawberries & fizz in the fridge to celebrate
We're off to see friends tonight so i'll wish you all a lovely evening & see you tomorrow when i get back from the job centre
Love & hugs to all
xx
Hey great news about your dad, thanks for the fizz cheers!
I used to read a book to the kids about a cat that went to different houses for food, think it was called Seven Dinner Sam? Hope Polly doesn't get fat! Have you had a sighting of the kittens?
Sat waiting for a call from eldest to pick up after his DofE expedition. He is then going to Germany in the morning until Monday, he has a better social life than me!
Have put more strawberries in the fridge as we are not getting through them even though I've given to mum and next door!
Love to all
Jakki xx
Strawberries and Fizz, yum. Good news about your dad Carol.
im shattered, can't keep up with the parents.
we have been all over the place today, garden centre, farm shop, pub, homebase, craft shop. Dad convinced me to get a lawnmower, he wanted to make sure I got the "right" one while he was there to explain the differences. Personally I find more fun in chosing sofas!
Great news about your Dad, Carol, so pleased! Polly must be going it, 2breakfasts, greedy little soul.....but then she is feeding little ones....will let her off!
Strawberries and fizz go very well together, yum!
Jakki, your son sounds quite 'gadabout' but in a great way, bless him, youngsters travel lots these days!
Lynda, I really grinned when you said about keeping up with parents, my dad was quick, bless him! And about him choosing the right lawnmower, haha, bless!
Hugs to you all, there's a bother of Pimms, another of lovely lemonade, sprigs of mint too in case the fizz doesn't quite appeal with those lovely strawberries........

Hello all
Well i'm so mad i could spit, somebody i used to work with is spreading it round that i've been sacked, if i get my hands on her she'll flipping well know about it,as if all the crap of the last few weeks hasn't been bad enough i've now got people asking me why i've been sacked, grrrrr
Well Lynda i did smile about the lawn mower & the busy parents,my dad & father in law are just the same & i'd sooner be picking a dress, shoes & handbag than anything to do with the garden
My little mate has been away for couple of days with mummy & has just been to tell me what they've been doing
No sign of kittens yet but we keep hearing them so we know they're not far away,Polly had 2 breakfasts again today & was sat waiting for us when we got home & as usual was in the door befor me & has nearly had me in the floor again as she trotted inbetween my feet back to her kennel
Hope all are well & have had a good day
Love & hugs
xx
Oh no, Sister Snail, that is slander and defamation of character, you could legally have her over the coals and into court!
If you can hear the kittens they must be nearby, bless the wee cat!
Hugs to you all, and a few jars of home grown and home made red currant jelly are now here, to be added to anything you wish!

To be honest i was thinking more along the lines of having her by the throat & smacking her on the nose end but that would be a waste of time & energy, the people that know me & know what's happened will tell people that it's not true & they're the people that matter,if people believe her then they don't know me & they're not worth worrying about,We will be coming to see you on august 25th, i'm practicing being an awkward visitor,we both hope you'll be able to get away for a while & have a cuppa with us,kittens should soon be moving about & getting away from Polly when she tries to put them back so we're quite expecting to open the curtains one morning & see them in the back garden
xx
Quite right Sister snail, show her your heels and let those you know judge you for what you really are
I hope you can get hold of the kittens to get them to good homes when the time is right.
Thank you Gillian
We have homes for 3 & hopefully our neighbours brother will be having the other 2 but if he doesn't i'm sure we will find homes for them, trouble is i don't want them to go to strangers & all the people i know either have or don't want cats so we may well end up keeping them
xx
That's good they will need good homes.
I made a good old fashioned trifle tonight, Swiss roll soaked in brandy, raspberries, custard and cream. I put some in the fridge.
Anyone like me trying to put weight ON should try some, yummy.
Been out for a walk with Hubby, it is a lovely evening. Planning on having friends round Saturday night,
