Jakki I do hope your scan results are perfect. Take your time returning to work, life is all about quality. I worked 4 days a week for the last few years of my working life and I had wednesdays off. I found it wonderful to have a break in the middle of the week, it always felt like a special holiday.

    hi everyone

i hoping radiotherapy starts next week so nervous/worried.

sorry not sure what to write so pointless

  • Hi Mom2monkeys, welcome to the Macmillan madhouse.....though sorry you needed to be here.

This group is intended to be here for (as it says) anyone to post, day or night, and hopefully get a reply from folk who maybe live abroad on a different time scale, or who for some reason can't sleep and post in the night time. It's a great big room with furniture fit to sink into, lovely views through bifold glass doors, but has an open fire for cold weather too, has a teeny kitchen area with a huge fridge and freezer where some of us can put stuff to eat and drink, and there are faeries who clean up! (yes, that's in our collective imaginations!)

Jakki, everything is crossed for your scan, like the others, I too think if you CAN reduce that workload, life will be easier, poor you having a meltdown but quite glad your Gav found you at the time!

Christine, Lola is simply beautiful, what a lovely young lady, and I'm sure she loves spending 'special' times with you.

Gillian, the change of plans is pants! what a pest that you'd got stuff all planned and now it's scuppered. I really hope you can both re-plan and have a successful time.

Sister Snail, how's Polly? Still eating for ten? Have you been allowed to see the kittens yet? And what's the news on the job front? Did you get it, or are you still waiting to find out?

Sending all here a big hug xxx

    Hi mom to monkeys,

Welcome, this has been a fab place for me to come during my chemotherapy, it is a comforting and often upbeat and funny place. Hope you find it as helpful as I have.

How old are your little ones? I have two teenage boys.

    hugs
