Dot, I really hope there are NO hiccups at all, but I do have to be realistic ......just hope that any hiccups are indeed small ones!
One cupboard now to empty and the dishwasher stuff at the end of today too, there are homes ready for it all, I think.
Caz has had a rare experience, a Saturday night at home, but says that the problems with old houses in the country in autumn remain the noises inside the walls, of spiders and mice scampering about! Yes, she has actually heard a spider! It ran across some paper, she, no doubt, was stood up on the sofa in fear at the time, bless her, she doesn't like them! Neither does her housemate, I have been staying there and had to be woken up to rescue them before now!
Love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen,
Just saw your message about Caz and Spiders lo!!! my daughter is terrified of spiders no matter how small, bless her and bless Caz, got to admit I don't like them myself, although the small ones do not bother me.

I wilol tell you this but its a secret between us .
I dont like spiders they send achill through me I dont know why and I did a correspondence degree course in entomology many years ago ,but because i was sacred of spisers the tutors put into an hymanoptra cours which is insects with cossamer wings, hence my interest in beekeeping .
Anyway spider are not on my list of freindlys so myfreind madge picks em up and puts them outside for me
Any way I was going into the shower room one day which is about 12 feet square wet floor bathroom with the power shower in the corner, as I went through the door there is amassive spider sitting in the shower outlet so I poured a bucket of water tghrough the doorway and tried to wash it away down the outlet but it never moved, so I got a garden cane and poked it then slammed the door shut so iy couldnt get me and still when I looked it hadnt moved, so I decided it was playing dead so ikt could get on my feet if I wenyt onto the shower so I packed the bottom of the door with towels and kept it shut until madge came over in the morning
I asked her to go in and get rid of this big spider so i could get a shower and off she went in with a jamjar.
She came out with it sitting in her hand and said "is this it" well cors it "was it"
Oh she said Stop eating strawberries in the shower will you its the top of a big strawberry"!!!!. so I am probably the only fella to be frightened by a strawberry.
so dont tell anybody
pete Skipper
I have found that tomato tops have a similar effect when you are short-sighted! I have definitely thought one was a spider!
Charles, am here, where are you? lol!
Well, a few small things to do, we are now ready to 'move into' the caravan for meals! Just the last things in the dishwasher, and the 4 drawers ( first aid, cutlery x2, and tea towels and kitchen towels) to move upstairs too. Lots of stuff now to throw out, luckily our bin day is tomorrow!
I might have a bit more time to devote here in the next week or so, maybe! My love and hugs to you all
