    Hi Helen,

Thinking of you and your family, have sent you email

Love and hugs to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Dianne, thanks, I hope you got my reply! I was shattered, so typed it on my phone in bed, lol!

Well, we didn't get to see Caz last night, she obviously had even more to chat about with her pal where she stayed the previous night, haha! She had a phone call, or at least, i did, from her Prof just to sort out exactly when it will be best to do the tests needed before the Royal Free trial. He sounded quite confused when i said it was me not her! bless him!

Will be posting a bit less the next few days, the kitchen needs even more packing, we have crammed the summer house, now it has to be the spare bedroom, wish there was a stair lift, lol!

The new window arrives tomorrow and will be fixed, the kitchen arrives in flat pack form, again we have had to find room for that! The assembly begins on October 5th, can't come soon enough!

Just for you dear lady. Have sent you an email. Hope all goes well with the new kitchen I am sure it will.

Give your lovely girl a hug from all  Helen, think of you all often.

    Love Maryxxxxxxxxx

  • Well, we are nearly on schedule with the packing, and the kitchen in the caravan is ready to move into, too, obviously it is much smaller so the cooking will be much more limited, no more home made bread, jam, biscuits, cakes, and so on for a few weeks now! awww, well, never mind! And yes, I now have two big bags of stuff for the charity shop and the bins are being well used too! Astonishing the quantity of stuff we hoard!

Oh, the new window? it is very good, top quality and nicely put in with good tidying up after!

It was good to have a break and go off to lunchtime choir!

Caz now has her pal's Granda's old piano, it is an 'old fashioned' upright but in a very pretty wood, she showed us via Skype link last night. It needs to settle for a few weeks before tuning. Hope she had a good chat with her Prof yesterday, she was certainly at home!

My love and hugs to all

    Hi Helen,

Just wanted to send you and your family these ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) for you all dear lady.

Keeping everything crossed that all goes well on Monday with your new kitchen, sure it will, then you can stand back and admire it, as well as work in it lo! hehehehe

    Many hugs to you all

    Love Maryxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • All I have to say today so far is, 'ouch'! But the kitchen is almost empty now, astonishing (as it is such a long one,) what it holds! Yes, I do have some rubbish bags full, though!

We are really looking forward to it now,  but not much to the 'moving back in' as all that stuff has to be brought back downstairs, cleaned, dusted down and new places found for it, if no new places then it might just have to join the rubbish tip too! Sir is worried in case they have got stuff wrong in the measuring, especially since he has spotted that 3 shelves for books are wrong already! Ah well, they have to sort it out, not us!

My love and hugs to you all

    Hi Helen,

Try not to worry?, I feel sure it will all be ok, and the shelving will be put right, as you say it is their fault not yours, if they measured initially for your new kitchen.

Have a good weekend, just think this time next week you will have your house back to yourself, and that lovely new kitchen installed.

Biggest of hugs to you, Caz, Hubby and son.
