All of us on here get both good and bad news, i wanted to start a thread for all types of news, for everyone to post their news.....
  • They have worked hard all day and there is still some plumbing and a whole lot of electrics still to do before ever starting on the new kitchen itself, which has almost all arrived and is filling up the music room!

Well, I keep telling myself it will look wonderful when done......and certainly the fitters do work solidly, just start with one cuppa and work all day!

love and hugs to you all

    Friends,

Today I had to go and see my consultant fells MR DhaDDA a young and very knowledgeable fella. He was delighted with the progress we have made in reducing the apples in my neck to little peanuts and says that is the size they should normally be. He considers that there is a good chance that the Lymph glands in my other inner core bits will have shrunk too.

Wednesday we are going with the Carboplatin again and the following Wed we are going for a two part mix, sounds like epoxy I am going to have.

Anyway he feels that route will give me the best treatment without the worst after effects.

So I am feeling better about the outcome now, though today I feel a bit ill

Hope your kitchen is coming together Moomy we is all coming round to sample the grub though we keep the date a surprise for you.

Eeh eeh eeh, I only get visitors when the place is cluttered up with ironing and not a chair not full of books or boxes, or looking like a single mans site.

Mind I don’t have underwear scattered about like my sisters used to have all over the place. You could tell where my older sister was by the trail of shed clothing starting with her shoes then a bit further her socks then her blouse and skirt probably half way up the stairs then her other bits right up to the bathroom door or her bedroom door. Mother used to pick em all up. I used to kick en down the stairs.

She hated school uniform and would rush in as fast as she could run up the stairs shed stuff; everything included green knickers and later emerges from her room like a metamorphosis had occurred in her room.

Anyway I wander from the forum.

Just letting you know the good news

yes thanks christine, Im off to bed now cos I aint felt good all day, Ill have to make it up first cos I didnt this morning.

I have this thing , when I make my bed which I have to do most days of course although its just two sheets ,10 pillows and a massive duvet. it never looks so inviting as when someone else has done it for me. which is daft cos the bedding comes from the same cupboard and everything. its just strange maybe its the reward without the effort thing..

I going to write a blog,   Inner thoughts of a nut case.

christine I went out in the boat yesterday Subday but had to come back cos my pal l was frightened of the big waves, I got ny lobster pot back though, we picked up a bottle with a message in it and some sand You could read the card through the bottle it was someones ashes that had been thrown into the sea at Aberdeen, I took them into deeper water away from the rocks and threw it into the tideway going towards filey and the south.

I split my pals ashes up and posted them to harbour masters all over the world  in little boxes asking them to scatter them where they were he was an engineer on merchant ships.

  • morning, folk......the power here will be going off soon, when the kitchen fitters arrive, so I'm making hay, as the saying goes, and posting on a few threads while I can!

Caz sounded as if yesterday was very busy for her, it was her weekly teaching day at Greenwich, she often just shoots there and back by train now, as the direct line to Euston is quick from her place.

love and hugs to you all on this wet miserable day.....at least it isn't cold so I won't freeze here!

  • Day 2, and there seems noises at present of patching and plastering. We had to go and pick a different flooring as the original one 'wasn't being produced any more' so we now will have a more expensive floor but for the already agreed price......nice!
