Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning
I had an early night but sat and read for a while. I woke up again before 3am and came down just before 4am. I've had my first cuppa!
We're going out for lunch today to a restaurant called Bouy & Oyster in Margate. I got a voucher from my son & DIL for my 60th in March.
H
Morning Helen.
I'm hoping knat's asleep now as she's got work in a few hours.
That sounds lovely, going out to eat. I've never tried oysters as I'm not sure I could stomach them, just cos of how they look. I do love seafood in general, so hope you get something really tasty you'll enjoy. Bonus that you don't have to pay for it!
I'm thinking about putting the kettle on myself and maybe if I make a hot chocolate, it'll work it's magic and get my bleary eyes to shut!
Righto lass, I'm going to try for a couple of hours myself as it's starting to get light outside. Enjoy your meal out and breathe in the fresh sea air, you lucky girl. Hugs xx
Hi Gill, Eddie & everyone, I'm still knocking around. Physically I'm a bit hmm... and M, not so good. It seems like everyone has it in for me. The council tax are trying to get £165 a month from me, they've cut my support in half. I live on my own but the council tax are playing funny buggers.
I copied in my counsellors and MP in a complaint about this. My social worker is getting in on the act. It's just everyone is letting me down at the moment!
Nobody takes Tracey my unpaid carer seriously. The social worker is on our side though.
Hope everyone is doing well. I know that's not really a good thing to say. I've just read through a few of the posts.
Hugs to everyone going through a bad time!
I'm going to try and get back into the Macmillan online communities again.
Gill, I see Leeds finally signed Sean Longstaff from Newcastle. He's a good player but had dropped down in the pecking order, through no fault of his own. No doubt he will score against us, to come back and haunt us.
Will Alexander Isak go to Liverpool? I hope so now, as he says he wants to move on. Good luck to him, as long as he has a stinker when he plays us.
Steve (SteveCam)
Sorry for everything that's going on with you and T, my friend, but carers and the people they care for are an easy target, especially for someone who has no idea what their dealing with, Hopefully, with all your doing and the support things will be resolved soon, and it's good to see you posting again.
Eddie
Cheers for that Eddie. I just sent her a message this morning actually so I hope she’ll get it eventually.
I love chickens and ducks so thanks for sharing your photos!
Sarah xx
Morning Steve and it's great to see you posting, if only till you're feeling better. I've been worried but what a lousy time you've been having - a bunch of tripe hounds who've not got a clue! At least your SW is onside and keep pushing yourself, as much as you're able to, so fingers crossed you'll get results soon. I'm trying for PIP for my fella; he can't speak for himself but I keep getting asked if I've got PoA - he's lost his voice box, not his mind! I've accepted I'll get nowt as his carer, like Tracey, but I'm a tenacious sod and the bit's between my teeth.
Hey, I'm hoping Sean does well for us in the PL and it's sod's law he could score when playing Newcastle; seen it happen a few times with our old boys and it stings. Isak's gone for 125 million I believe, but I laughed at your comment! That's one thing you haven't lost, your SOH and please hang on to it - it's something the jobsworth's can't have.
Hoping your luck turns for the better and sending you big hugs xxx
