Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Oh Eddie, the hens are absolutely wonderful and I love them! It was only the other day I was telling other good friends here that I'd love a smallholding, with hens at the top of the list. I've had a fair bit of contact with our feathered friends in the past and know how they enjoy being fussed over. Thank you so much for the photos and I'm going to add them to my gallery. That's something else you helped me with, mastering posting pictures. You're an absolute star! Hugs and love to you and Sheila xxx
Well Gill, you were right, the lack of sleep did catch up with me. I went out for a bit of shopping and when I got back felt quite exhausted. I thought I'd get a bit of shuteye before starting to make our meal! I went to bed just before 18.00, for an hour and woke at 01.20! Luckily Vince had been away overnight on Friday night and had stopped on his way back for a meal! So I just made tea and toast & now I am heading back to bed as I still feel tired!
I hope everyone is asleep by now!
Love Annette x
Hiya Annette! I'm really happy for you, getting some extra zeds in! Let's hope you're feeling refreshed. I've started with the zinc and magnesium capsules again, one per day. Now they're working, inasmuch I'm conking out at the drop of a hat, but they also seem to be stoking up my hair trigger temper! A double edged sword.
Have a lovely day lass xx Hey, I'm wondering if Eddie could have named his oldest, most narky bird after me? It'd be apt! xxx
