Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Sorry to know about this, Gill on here will explain more, but PET scan hopefully shows the final piece of the jigsaw. My hubby had his yesterday our results are Tuesday. I feel the same it feels like I'm dreaming it. You aren't alone, though it is a weird feeling. Hoping the best news possible comes through for you. X
Hi Jorge,
I totally agree with Dingg It really is the final piece of the puzzle and will show what you're all dealing with. The specialists can then put together your daughter's treatment plan and she can concentrate on getting better.
You're just in that limbo period which is horrible (I was there 7 weeks ago). I was told by the lovely people here that once you get the plan, it gets easier. It does! You'll have something to focus on, your lives will change but that's ok. You just need to concentrate on the future, stay positive, and remember you have lots of support around you (including us on here!).
Once you know what you're dealing with, one of the community champions can recommend a forum to join for more specific information. We're are a mixed bag here and tend to chat and laugh about lots of different things! We've even got really good at loading up photos to share! I have found the group invaluable. I've also found it really important to keep my sense of humour and remember who I am, not just someone who has cancer (although everything revolves around that of course).
Hang on in there. It's scary times, we've all been there but you'll know soon what's going on.
Julie xx
Morning Dingg
I can see how kind and supportive to others you are from your previous posts, and I hope the lovely support you’re getting here helps you too.
Seems like you’ll have the petscan results pretty quickly which is a good thing. Like the others have said, getting a treatment plan helps with some of the anxiety-I know it did for me. You can then put your energy and focus into taking back some control, knowing that something is being done. I wish you the best possible news for your hubby.
Sarah xx
