Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Thank you Gill. I have just had my third scan in a week. The mri scan was the worst one. I get claustrophobic hope I have spelt it right. I try and be grateful for what I have got not what I haven't got. Hope you and your hubby are well lovely lady. I am 74 Gill and feel it.xx
That made me laugh rose about the zip. Good luck with your surgery and a quick recovery.
Aw you're not a big softy at all, and I think it takes a man to cry.
Now I'm a hardened woman but when OH starts, which is often these days, it tends to set me off but only after I've soothed him. I also stop bawling sooner than my poor fella but I've got six years on him, which might make a bit of difference.
You cry Uki, as it relieves all manner of stress and anxiety. Sending soothing hugs xxx
Hello Ukiboy
I have Prostate Cancer - my treatment is Hormone Therapy - it removes your testosterone and you end up with less testosterone than a woman!!
There are plenty of side effects - I have grown my own pair of 38DD's, I have hot flushes, many other side effect but I can cry for England.
I am not ashamed one bit about it - I cry in public, at the pub, in supermarkets, on the bus anywhere, and it doesn't take much to set me off.
BUT as a man I am proud that I can show my feelings. I am terrible at weddings and funerals - having been escorted out of a funeral as I couldn't stop myself from crying!!
Carry on - there's nowt wrong with you - proper chap!! .
Kind regards - Brian.

Hi Soc, and there's nothing wrong with your spelling my lovely - we don't fuss even if there was as it's not important.
What is important is yourself and the brilliant way you're facing this latest knock back head on, so very well done you. I bet you don't look your age Soc, and I'd never have guessed it as you sound younger! I am a bit younger but look about 95 - I've been asked three times if I'm OH's mother and he's 61! I'm beyond feeling insulted now
We're not too bad sweetheart, and once I've washed up we're going to watch the football - how we'll feel at the final whistle will depend on the result. Hugs to you hon xxx
