Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Thanks Gill, but you know there are absolutely no apologies due!
I’m very pleased you were able to get some solid sleep - you were well overdue a night like that. You know you deserve as much rest you can get too…,.. you give so much to your OH and the rest of us on this forum. You need to not forget your good self in the mix…..
I’ve always liked a banana
big hugs back to you
Thanks Julie - yes all ironed and lIppy at the ready!
Please look after yourself and your dizziness (and everything else).
yes, I will be back for the bants etc
love to you x
Dingg, you and hubby are amazing, still laughing and joking through all the stress. It should be bottled and handed out to everyone - if only xx
Here's a little tip: instead of t-shirts, that get in the way of tubes, maybe take hubby short sleeved, button up lightweight shirts. They're easier to get on and off and comfy if the ward's boiling hot. If he has an operation, he'll most likely be kitted out in hospital pyjamas and they're good as they have poppers as opposed to buttons. You won't have to wash them, either.
Your black cat was majestic and revered, as is correct, but a real character too! A wonderful boy xxx
Thanks, Ukiboy, I appreciate it.
I’m glad you have the purrrfect pippin there with you
Thanks so much, Rose but the extra kip has made me groggy - a bit less, methinks.
You must be packed by now, but don't forget the 3m cable and your green stick. I was thinking, your Sunday best black and silver number could be behind the traffic warden's courtesy when you were in Westminster the other week? If you were using it that day, of course!
You're an inspiration Rose, with your bravery and incredible zest for life - just what we all need here. Big hugs my lovely xxx
