Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Struggling to sleep.overehelmed with waiting. Probable lung mets , awaiting appointment for possible removal. Feeling very negative.
I’ve been awake too. Feeling alone and scared. Thinking of cancelling surgery tomorrow
I wouldn't cancel! Talk to them about it tomorrow when you're there. It takes so long to get these things booked in!
I have a large family and good friends yet also feel so alone in this. Not finding any of it easy.
Morning Sheelagh.
I was going to send a message to wish you good luck for tomorrow - I'm going to add, please keep your appointment and speak to someone about how you're feeling. Gardenshed is spot on and you'd probably regret going back to square one if you cancelled now. Come on love, we're all behind you and we'll still be here when you've had your surgery. It really is the best opportunity to get you on the road to recovery, so grab it and go for it! Wishing you all the best and sending hugs xxx
Hi there. I've just read your posts; sometimes it can be easier sharing your worries with an online stranger than family and friends, so if you'd like a chat, I'm listening. Your advice to Sheelagh was great xxx
Was told 10 days ago by telephone need lung suspicious area removing. Was told will get an appointment within the week. Emailed and called specialist nurses but still no appointment to discuss. Feels like forever.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
