Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Ah OK, maybe that's why, I have angiosarcoma which is cancer in the lining of blood vessels
Hi Big Steve, I got a text message from Julie yesterday, have you heard from her. It was 10 Wk’s yday since Wm died!
Hang on in there, loosing hair didn’t do Sean Connery any harm! LOL!!
Love Annette x
I don't think I know Julie... I've only been on here about a month
Morning Annette. Talking of hair loss, my fella started losing his in his very early twenties! I didn't know him then, and it was decades before he got cancer, but he was bald on top before thirty.
He's now only got some left round the sides, but I take the trimmer to it every other week and shave it all off down to the wood. He looks nothing like Sean, but loves being a total baldy, and it's a bonus in the hot weather.
Love Gill xx
Oh I’m sorry maybe I got the wrong Steve. William (Ulls was his username on here) died 10 weeks ago and Julie is his wife. I know Eddie (who is having a break at the moment) went to the funeral with Steve. However there are probably lots of Steve’s on here, sorry!
Love Annette x
Wasn't me sorry, but sorry to hear about William, and also about Eddie having to take a break
Hi Steve. Annette was referring to SteveCam who went to Ull's funeral. Steve's not been here for a couple of weeks, so maybe he's on holiday. Hope you're doing ok xx
Just the usual, restless and a little bit breathless tonight which apparently goes with the low RBC, so struggling to sleep
Aw, that's not good, poor you. If you've got Maggie, give her a stroke from me. Look after yourself and I hope you manage to get some sleep xx
Hi Gill, My husband started to loose his hair in his thirties. When our son got to his thirties, he thought the front of his head the hair was receding so he shaved it off! It was such a shock when we first saw him but soon you get used to it. He still shaved his hair so we will never know if he was going to loose it or not!
Love Annette x
