Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Ray
I took the tablets! I slept well as it settled down. Alan was up early though feeling sick, the food was lovely and the portions were huge so we both ate too much
Turkish food is very like Greek food, it's not overly spiced and very meat based. I had halumi cheese as a starter and moussaka (a bit like lasagna but with aubergine instead of pasta) for a main, there was salad and pitta breads as well, and yogurt for dipping.

Morning Dingg
So sorry I missed you last night as I slept through, but I'm sending you all the luck in the world for today sweetheart. I so hope you get the answers for what to expect with hubby's treatment plan and can start to move forward.
Love, hope and strength to you both xxx
Morning Rose
Apologies for missing you last night hon, but as I said to Dingg, sleep was the culprit.
Anyway my lovely, I hope you sleep fitfully tonight as I think it's tomorrow when you go in for your pre-op? Please try for as much rest as possible today and keep yourself calm, too. You're a veteran with medical matters and a strong person too, so you don't need me to tell you that, but I'm sending you love and hope that when you're 'unzipped', you'll be back on the road to recovery.
The biggest of hugs coming your way sweetheart xxx
Morning Helen
Good news that you're feeling better, but poor Alan, down with the lurgy as well. Could be you both picked up a bug.
The meal sounds like it was a triumph so all good. Hope you can relax at some point today though, and get back to your normal routine. Big hugs to you both xxx
Good luck with your surgery Rose. Hope it all goes well and you have those pyjamas ironed and packed!
You keep in touch and we'll do our best to keep you entertained! Sending love xx
