Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Evening Ray
You've had me smiling with your escapades in A&E too. I doubt the speedy nurses will be fixated on your bald patch, but here's a tip if it makes you feel exposed - shave the lot off. OH is almost totally bald, apart from a bit of remaining clown frizz, so after I've been at him with the shaver he's as smooth as a skinhead. You too could get that effect, and stop those whizzing nurses in their tracks when they realise Hard man Ray's entered the building.
Do you have names for your sticks Ray? OH's is called Walter but you could refer to yours as The Twins as it sounds snazzy. Enjoy the evening my friend xxx
Rosedeec1bf9b I had a walk this morning. Was out for about 50 minutes and felt like I got a good pace going. Felt pleased with myself!
However, came home, ate some lunch and slept most of the afternoon!! Haven't moved much since! Done nothing else!
Feel like I ran a marathon!!
I felt a bit aged too! It's all well and good trying to be healthy!!
I just focused on trying to walk in a straight line as my meds can sometimes make me a bit dizzy. Not that bad but when turning my head to cross the road, just felt like I needed something to hold on to...maybe I should also get a stick!? Still, it was lovely to get out. The weather has been lovely today down here ️
xx
From what I've seen of cat food, I think an OH may develop strange habits e.g. scraping away in the middle of prize flower beds for some reason. Dog biscuits, on the other hand, look and sometimes smell quite edible. I would try one in desperate circumstances e.g. when persuading my daughter's dog to eat his own stuff instead of leaping on me to steal a bit of pork pie.
