Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Oh yes l love birds always have. My old auntie kept budgies but believed not to cage them and had net on her windows and they lived free in her house she was a little eccentric but as a kid to just have birds land on you was priceless lol
7 weeks ago when hubby was perfectly well we had to close our living room window in case the tawny owl flew in, we went in the park by moonlight to see the owl, so perfect x
Oh yes so very true about Robins x my gran said it came from, hope l get this right, when Jesus was in the stable it caught fire and Robins came to try and fan the flames out with their wings. Gran also said it means your guardian angel or someone close is giving a sign of their love ️
Wow, that's amazing Dingg! Owls are fabulous creatures and last year, as I was always awake in the early hours, I'd hear one hooting and a sense of calm would wash over everything. I used to thank him for it.
Oh I love the budgie story too and aren't they the cutest little birds? I guess we'll all be dreaming of our feathered friends tonight. Fingers crossed xxx
So true x it was a very natural childhood l had, always animals around, yes the owl hoots at night lol and l feel very much better then x miss my old auntie, if you had a sleepover she'd put whiskey in her tea and when l was comp age lol in my tea and my mum was then oh you didn't drink whiskey and have budgies on the bed now. course not mum
Hood to chat hope you have a peaceful night xxx
Aw, what lovely things your gran told you, and I think she was right.
On the day my mam was taken into hospital, with a massive stroke, I pointed out to OH how many robins were in the grounds that day. They suddenly seemed to be everywhere after that and that was when I started saying hello to them, convincing myself it meant mam was around. I still think the same, seven years after she passed on, and it always gives me a glow whenever one, or two, come into our garden. It's always good to have nice thoughts sweetheart xxx
