Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Had a bit of a day!! Woke up eith a temperature of 37.5 so had to go to A&E to get checked for sepsis!
Thankfully no sign. Looks like I just have a viral throat infection. I'm not immuno-compromised yet so it's just one of those things. I've got dome amoxicillin to be on the safe side. Feeling a bit rubbish as I didn't sleep well but been napping since I got home this morning.
A&E was rammed but thankfully I was only there for about 3 hours and they put me in a bit of an isolated spot. Nurses and doctors lovely and there's something very special about hospital tea!!
Tomorrow is another day!!
Hi Julie aw love, not a great start to the day, but I hope the antibiotics work soon and help you shake off the virus.
We've had a few weekend stints in A&E too - not pleasant but the lovely staff and magic tea definitely take the edge off!
Fingers crossed you recover soon, and take things easy till you do. Hugs sweetheart xxx
Hi Helen
It’s absolutely beautiful here but a bit chilly in the shade. I’ve done a bit of weeding and my hubby is just giving the grass its first cut of the year. It’s so clear I think it’s going to be pretty cold tonight! But I guess it’s still only March so we are lucky to have such a sunny day.
Thank you Lucie ️ yes, all ok here lovely. A few extras on my trusty list with the teeth business but nothing too taxing - OH has avoided any pain, bleeds or swelling so going well so far.
I'm hoping you're taking advantage of the sun and sitting outside? That's what I'm doing with my book, but in the shade! Have a smashing weekend sweetheart. Hugs and love xxx
