Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hello Lucie, although I do like Tallulah for the pesky tumour!
Keeping a sense of humour throughout all the rubbish stuff is the best way for sure. I'm certain my OH's family thinks I'm demented sometimes - making cracks when I should be eternally miserable! They only see one side though, and I'll bet you've had the same reaction if you act daft.
Aw thank you Lucie, for your support, and it's great we can all do that for each other. Big hugs coming your way xxx
Hi Julie.
sorry to hear this. Every stage is hard but once Mildred has been evicted, there will be a sense of relief. it’s not easy but it sounds like you’re a very positive person. As am I. I think that really helps with it all. I’m over the worst but now I think it’s all hitting me. The aftermath !
Always here if you need support.
You and Lucie have made smile Julie, with those names you've cooked up!
Oddly enough we never gave OH's tumour a name as we have for most other things - OH's was a monster though, in both size and the damage he caused. I reckon Hulk would have suited him down to the ground! We did name his RT mask Noodles, and he sits proudly in the spare room - he'd be great for Halloween with a spray of illuminated paint!
Keep smiling lovely - you're doing amazing xxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
