Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Alex Nope, I'm still awake and can't seem to take my own advice! I may as well become full time nocturnal - stay awake all night and sleep all day. That wouldn't work though, as everyone else in my silly world would have to do the same. I doubt the shops would be prepared to open at two in the morning especially for me. I've tried the soothing music and watching rubbish films to get me off, but the only thing that's had a decent success rate is listening to ghost stories on YouTube. It's not worked tonight! I know I'll end up nodding off at some point later today - then the whole crackpot cycle will start again. I'm a lost cause my lovely xxx
