Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Thank you, it's all very overwhelming. I think I got a few hours sleep in the end.
Sorry to hear about your stomach, hope it feels better with something in it.
Morning Helen
Aw you poor love, another disturbed night, so let's hope the boilers do the job.
Despite rambling in the early hours, I did manage to get some decent sleep and on my second cuppa now. It's really foggy here but that's ok as it's cosy indoors. You take it easy Helen and get yourself up to speed xxx
Hello.
Welcome to the group. I am sorry to read about your diagnosis.
Try and take one day at a time, it is difficult but once you start your treatment, you will get into a routine. Sending hugs.
xx
Thanks. Unfortunately it's a hangover from radiotherapy and isn't helped by diabetes meds . I'm used to it now. A day of beige food helps (no fibre).

Thank you. I'm hoping to have a better night tonight as I'm exhausted. Would be lovely just to keel over...
