“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

We shopped early and beat the rush, as Tesco's was starting to heave as we left.

Ive also been to tesco, not many people there . We're also going spending christmas with son , DIL and Grandchildren in a lovely cottage they're staying at in Wales. I also hope you and everyone here has a lovely Christmas

Been for pre treatment scan and tattoo this morning. Chemoradiotherapy starts on monday. Part of me is glad its starting, the other part is nervous xx
