Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Night night Jann. See you soon love xxx

  • "The Sound of Music with a Yorkshire twist!!"

There's the title for your book.  Catherine Cookson eat your heart out!  I can even imagine an ITV drama!

    Who would play your role?

    Steve (SteveCam)

  • Morning Steve.

The ITV saga is underway. Great suggestion for a working title, and I'm still casting for a fabulous looking child actress to play the 10 year old me. I've found the perfect older me - the Bride of Wildenstein, Google her but she might be dead. Sally Wainwright is on with the screenplay and we'll be on location in the Pennines as the budget won't stretch to real mountains. A rip roaring blockbuster in the making!

Being serious now, fingers crossed you both get on like a house on fire, so here's a bosie xxx

  • I knew you would like the idea.  Just googled the bride of Wilde stein!  I nearly spilled my coffee!

Hopefully we will get on...it in the jeans!  I wonder if he looks anything like me?  What! Two Patrick Stewart lookalikes!

    Steve (SteveCam)

  • Joy What's all this about something in your jeans? Surely you mean genes but your mind could work in mysterious ways and you're referring to your wallet. Or other stuff...

I think you'll get on famously. Who could resist your wit, charm and Geordie accent, unless it's so strong he can't understand a word you're saying.

Good luck Paddy - a magpie meets a fox xxx

  • I meant to say Genes.  Sounds the same!  Patrick Stewart is a Yorkshireman isn't he?

I have Google translate on my phone just in case.

    Steve (SteveCam)

  • Aye, Patrick's from Mirfield I think, just a few miles away from us.

Ah'm gannin' oot marrar, to see one o' me bairns. That's what comes from reading Catherine Cookson novels, which I loved.

    Have a great day xxx

  • I had a guilty pleasure today; a  Christmas movie Joy

Now watching Strictly, any other fans here?

  • I love Christmas films, especially Scrooge with Alistair Simm. I've never watched Strictly, apart from a little bit years back, but couldn't get into it.

Eddie posted some photos hours ago but they've gone. I thought my phone was on the blink. xxx
