Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Ray.
Snap with the timings. Seeing as hospitals provide our 'outings', we look forward to a nice coffee and food when the appointments finish. A&E visits not so much, as the eateries are usually closed, so instead our ears are honed to the rattlings of the tea trolley on the corridors. xxx
Hi Gilly, food shopping done!, I hope, not my fave either, and an early present for LOH on its way?. We were at Tesco all day today, it was fab, with 8 beaches, and four lovely places to eat, and a wonderful garden, sorry I meant Tresco, Awww don't worry about Pop's, she's fearless, and a match for anything, she's so brave xxx
Hiya Eddie. Aw Poppy xx I thought she was stalking a bird, but after zooming it's more like a shell? Maybe not. The food shop was pretty good as I bought loads of treats; we've been devouring them all afternoon but I've been too greedy and feel bloated.
I ordered the iPad from Currys and it'll be here in the morning, but we won't get much chance to muck about with it, as LOH has got a review for the brand new exercise group and will be put through his paces to check his fitness levels... that should take about 30 seconds! Joking apart, it's so Alex, the girl in charge, can tailor a programme suitable for him. Then Friday marks the end of his current group it could be emotional xxx
just read message - me hopes fitness is good -& hopes Alex can do something to suit - even if just sitting in a chair and laughing !
Seems you have been on ore than a long road -but what does Friday mean - end of current group - just here as always xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Jann. My OH has been attending a fitness/ exercise class for the last six months to try and get him more mobile, as his neck and shoulders have been severely debilitated by his surgery. He finishes the course this Friday, so he's been referred to another to hopefully keep the progress going. It's much nearer to home too, which is a bonus.
How was your day lovely? xxx
