Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Shops are a fast 10-15 minute car drive away, nothing within walking distance. And these are in little more than villages, so small shops. But yes, not 'remote' as in the Scottish highlands and islands, but definitely a typical rural area.

  • Shimmers, no reply needed but hoping you kick the symptoms off ASAP. Although I do not feel too bad, since yesterday my eyes have felt gritty, nose dripping, sneezing a lot and just a hint of feeling sick. Motivation to do things has gone into negative figures. Not sure what that last one means. Perhaps I should destroy a to-do list Grinning.  Weather is wet and breezy. Nothing too exciting. xxx

  • Evening Ray that is how I felt with covid. Still lingering on sneezing aches and pains. Flu symptoms. Just took paracetomol and stayed in.xxx

Very upset that I was suddenly logged out on my phone, and my password is not working! This happened on my PC yesterday.

This is a nightmare. Now changed my pw and have got back in. If it goes again, I am out of here. Permanently!

  • Aye, that is irritating. I gave up with password entry over a year ago, instead using my Google account to log in.

Stick with us if you can. The chaps and chapesses in the engine room may find some answers to the various problems soon. xxx
