Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Stressy has an out planned for Halloween, with Party in a box pal. ' but quiz nyt and Halloween need money and bingo ... paid for membership not using it ' which of course led him to Scoot's and the start of a rant which died as I left the room ... and he can't hold a thought for 30secs
Cheers
Deffo leave it open as no doubt there'll be others for the team to deal with.
Another alert for a flat this morning - gorgeous but pricey and wrong area. The biggest BUT was it's on the edge of a notorious estate round these parts and it stated crime rate low. Yeah, right.
Probably will have to put flatwatch on hold till OH has his scan xxx
Err why was his team on YOUR case yesterday? You have not been appointed as his official health care manager. Your role as his advocate is purely voluntary.
Now if they want to co-opt you on to their team we can discuss Ts and Cs and appropriate remuneration.
Cheers
Hamstered! Anyway...
It wasn't just yesterday I got Gestapo'd, they're always like that and usually I bite my tongue but I got really stroppy with them this time. They switched off the bright light they'd concentrated on my face and drew back, don't think they appreciated barely concealed aggression. They feel uber sorry for OH and I'm his scapegoat, patsy whatever, but I can feel an almighty flare up is on the cards
Given tech issues, not sure if I can't see your response or it is hiding somewhere I am not looking, or if you are Zzzzzz
Cheers
They feel sorry for OH??? Not sure that is a medical response ... of course neither would rolling around in gleeful hysteria be.
Also 'sadness' at his situation is not helping OH to move forward to an 'its a bummer but I am going grab life by the short and curlies in a new stylee' frame of mind.
You can't be accused of being asleep at the wheel when you don't own a vehicle, have not been taught to drive and didn't agree that you would try.
It is not your job to plait the blancmange that they can't juggle!
Cheers
The stuff that is mentioned in appointments ... tests, referrals, ect
Any thing that requires an 'action' I would write down and ask ... Who is requesting that? Who is arranging that? Who is monitoring that this has happened and will intervene if there is a delay or issue? Who is responsible for keeping us updated and how will that happen?
Yes it is tedious but gets across that stuff doesn't 'just happen' and your days are already full.
Cheers
