Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning all
I've been ironing this morning - oh the excitement
I hope you feel more settled this morning. I'm very rarely around during the night as my sleep has improved massively and I don't have any tech in the bedroom (my rule to aid sleep).
After saying the above I was up with cramp during the night, I looked out of the window and saw a fox mooching about over the road so I watched him/her for a few minutes.
H
Morning Gill
Sorry you've been down hon, but I've been in that lousy place too. Still am really as i was just about to reply when OH came down and the whole circus started up again.
Yesterday's appointment was rubbish! As I'd expected, an ultrasound's in the pipeline for the lumpy bits, another appointment with his lymphodema nurse and I've just had to chase her up as to why she never ordered a compression garment for him, a referral to the dermatologist to determine flareups round his neck area and more wittering from his team about other things. All directed at yours truly as everything seems to be my fault. It's akin to paying a price for a crime I had no part in and I resent being his team's whipping boy!
I was still far too angry to post yesterday and wouldn't have been the best company, so apologies for my silence and to any members I didn't reply to.
So that about rounds it up but I'll attempt to get back on track today and behave. Living the dream.
Sending you hugs and to anyone else having a rough time of it xxx
Aw thanks Julie but my whining pales into insignificance compared to what you're dealing with.
Ignore me, I just wanted to explain my absence and get back to normal here.
You deserve these ️
ticks,
(no tick symbol on new phone).
Hoping you have a good day sweetheart, and keep yourself warm. I'll get more jobs done and come back to add more replies.
Biggest hugs xxx
Its definitely eased now thanks sbird.
Can I ask when you had chemo? How long for? I am going through the wringer of 2 weekly chemo over 20 weeks. It was 16 weeks but they decided to add another type of chemo due to my BRC2 gene mutation. What a palava. Oh well got to take each day.
Hope you're having a good day H.
