Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Good Morning Ray (

And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY from me too. What a cracking way to celebrate, but can the day get any better?

I wish you many more happy birthdays and many more packets of garibaldis.

    Kind regards - Brian.

Yes, I fell asleep suddenly and have only just  woken up. Huge thanks for the chat last night, I enjoyed it and it certainly helped my panicking brain. xxx

I didn't get the decaff in the end, too tired to get out of bed and the house was cold. But I have flavoured water close by.

I went to Italy with my mother after my father died. It was a package holiday by coach of three cities - Florence, Venice and Rome - with guided tours. Rome was the final one and we went round the city without the tour and had the best time! That was around 1991. Today, I have clients in Milan and Bologna, and visited them 5 years ago.

I am a huge, life-long fan of Phil Collins and Genesis!

Well - I have had a breakthrough regarding work/IT issues, so I am greatly relieved! Today is a better day (apart from chemo side effects, but nothing unusual there).

In the meantime, this is what I face whenever I step out of the shower - keep reading it when you feel down, I hope it inspires you!

  • That's great. We all need that. Love Uki.

  • Morning Gill Smile

Great news about your breakthrough and that should bode well for a much better day. Thumbsup

Your motivational board made me motivate my posture till I read the last quote...then I slumped back in the chair, resigned. Oh well...

Busy day here so I'll crack on but will come back later to practice some more on the phone. Iphone

Don't forget to add Kingfishr up there with Genesis and Phil! Fun fact - Jools Holland had them on as guests on his Later show the other night - I didn't tune in!

Try not to work too hard today hon, you need a rest. Hugs and love Heart️ xxx

I should have specified.  Manky Kingfishr was one of his guest spots but Genesis didn't feature. They had a Lucky escape imo! xxx

YES! I would have loved to have seen Phil Collins' reaction had he been there! Rofl (Sorry I didn't read your post properly.)
