Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Thank you so much for that, Lisa
You're an absolute genius! I'll get on it once I've made our dinner, but it could be a while before I come back as I need to get my dopey head round it first! I'm not a doyenne of the techy stuff
Thanks again my lovely xxx
Hello, and another warm welcome to the group.
I am so sorry what you are going through. It sounds frightening.
I haven’t experienced seizures, but this is a great group where lots of topics are discussed.
Wishing you all the very best for your surgery tomorrow. xx
Thank you ... I take the thyroid medication without food, at around 10.30 each day. Caffeine is barred due to my chemo/ immunotherapy treatment, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure whether feeling unwell for the past 24 hours is the chemo side effects being more intense this time or the thyroid meds, but both should resolve soon, I hope.
Everyone responds so differently so super hard to know what’s what in this horrible space of cancer . Days 5-8 after chemo are the worse for me typically on a 3 week cycle.
interesting they have banned caffeine… I’m still allowed to have this.
Sounds like your treatment has an end date which is reassuring, wishing you all the best for your recovery xx
