Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Oooooh how intriguing! I had assumed you were still doing finance.
Does this mean you spot non conventional spellings and grammar at 300 paces? Online posts must make you wince
Cheers
Hi. I am contacting Macmillan about the site's functionality but realistically we would find a 'report' button more useful. I think they would too, as all winjing would be in one thread and they could more easily identify persistent, common or occasional glitches.
Well done for persevering, have a sticky
Cheers

I've been semi- dozing in my chair so never got round to making any food for myself - eating a Bounty now to compensate.
Your food sounds double lush and I wish someone would bring a steaming platter of it right this minute - it wouldn't be around for long I'm wondering if Glyn's culinary talents were behind this belter of a dish?
Same here with it being mild this morning but we just got drizzle instead of proper rain.
Crikey hon, site glitches for you too? Join the club my lovely xxx

Just gearing up for when the footy finishes, then TLC.
If Stressy's actively leaving fodder outside then THEY will come... and then he'll have a problem. Hopefully his neighbours aren't decking fanatics as that's one of their favourite hidey holes.
Have you had all the plaudits/bowing and scraping for sorting the scooter saga out yet hon, or has Stressy put in a claim that it was all down to his work?
I was thinking of running some posters off my press for Ray to adorn lampposts around the Northants area - unfortunately I couldn't obtain a picture of a Garibaldi and I've had inside info that the biscuits have become extinct.
Hope I haven't ruined his night xxx
There's actually a lot more to it than that, including a long period of education and training before you start. I also offer copyediting, usually both together as a single, seamless service - details of which I won't bore you with!
As for relying on my own eyes (and brain), I also use professional software that takes care of the 'heavy lifting', especially consistency in spelling and other aspects, so I can concentrate on more subtle issues (and sometimes the software's suggestions are wrong so everything needs to be checked in any case).
This is highly intensive work and it keeps my brain fully occupied so for a while, I can stop worrying about health issues.
But yes, online posts, adverts in any medium and signage can be irritating but I try to ignore that. I would also never point out errors that people have made, unless they ask me.
Only today I saw a handwritten sign in a shop window, "dress'es €19.99". I kept walking.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
