Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

For the past 15 years I have been a freelance proofreader, with clients across Europe and sometimes beyond. My clients are mainly translation agencies, where I clean up the English (UK or US), or academics (although not student work as I am limited in what I am allowed to do, so it is still the student's work). I also work with EU institutions, which is a whole subject of its own. Ironically, I work for a medical journal in Milan (short name EJCRIM - I am named as one of the team so I can disclose it) which deals with cancer cases among other things, so they are very interested in what's going on with my health!
My business won an award from Theo Paphitis (Dragon's Den founder) in year 3, one of my proudest moments.
Unfortunately it has hit the buffers more recently (a major Dutch client went bust, was taken over by a French company who brought their own people in).
I am also a published author.
You can actually see the bins from a different angle Shims!
Wow, Gill! I am seriously impressed with your skills and how you've utilised them for so long. You've got a major talent, in my book, and I really hope business picks up in the future.
I'll bet I'm not the only one here who applauds your achievements and also how you've kept going despite your health taking a hit.
Well done you, and you deserve a collective pat on the back. Amazing work xxx
Evening Sonia
Y️our view of M&S would have made me hungry, especially for their cakes
When OH was in the first hospital the view was pants as it was another part of the building, but when he was in the second one his view took in the hospital helicopter landing pad. He saw one land during the night so all the lights and beam were showing off their full array. He couldn't get pics as he couldn't get out of bed!
Only 4 more days to go now hon, so the countdown is on xxx
