Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • YAY! I know a lottery winner! Whoop! Whoop!

It will get you some packing tape Blush

    Cheers

  • I wondered if you'd all been swallowed by the Hamster S

Was it an active decision to go no TV or did it die and not get replaced?

    Cheers

  • My parents took me and my brother to see 'The Parent Trap' starring Hayley Mills. I was about 10 and fell in love. I did not know that there was such a thing as a Diana Rigg doll. Probably unwise for me to make enquiries. I bought an Elvis Presley doll for my daughter when I was in the USA for work. Pretty sure that's the only doll I've ever bought. My late wife had quite a few. They are all in the loft somewhere.  xxx

  • Shimmer, I'm a step ahead as I've already got a bundle of packaging boxes, bubble wrap and 2 rolls of tape. I ordered it last week when I was fluffed up with excitement but not unwrapped it yet xxx

  • I'm just back from a rabbit hole, Ray.

My Emma Peel doll is worth at least £50 in her current condition as they are indeed rare and mine is from the 60s.

    No one's having her though...

  • Ooh been looking up Emma Peel dolls to see if you are wedged up ahem I mean have a treasured asset.

What is yours wearing? A blue tracksuit type affair?

Got the packing kit Heavy check mark

S️ee you have a plan and some oomf and some sense ... moving Parky pal was  .... challenging.

    Cheers

  • Active decision. More and more channels seemed to dilute the quality. The internet is a vast pool of information, documentaries and films. After weeding through the rubbish, it satisfies my leanings toward science, engineering, aviation and certain types of history e.g. human evolution and ancient civilisations. Oh, and music. Stacks to watch while Brian is busy with his style of retirement. I miss having Garibaldi to munch whilst keeping my brain buzzing. xxx

  • My EP doll came in a black plastic cat suit, black boots and her right hand is shaped to hold her revolver. Another couple of outfits came in the box but they're lost Sob

I'm kinda looking forward to getting all the packing done. Today I got 2 bags of good stuff ready for the RSPCA shop drop tomorrow and a bag of unopened, in date pantry stuff for Tesco's drop box.

Everything that's tip bound will be bagged and then I'll order a skip as we've not got transport. I don't know a man with a van xxx

  • Ahhh the Garibaldi Rubicon!

My mastiff pal can't sit still until she has done 'stuff'. Somehow it's like it has to be earned. Never comes downstairs in her PJ's ... despite living alone.

Her worst nightmare would be reclining on the sofa eating ice-cream with her gin bottle in the pocket of her greasy dressing gown ... some folk's ideal Sunday Joy

    Cheers

  • Make sure the bag with the MiL goes in the skip, not to the RSPCA...or you could put her in the garden per the Billy Connolly joke Grinning. xxx
